It's an alright place. Staff is usually helpful. Even though they kind of a standoff-ish vibe at times. The biggest gripe at the moment with this particular location, I've been here multiple times over the past few years, is that the NEVER have enough inventory for Superbowl Sunday ! Or really any major US sporting event that comes up. You would think an organization that relys heavily with ONLY headwear they would be up to the challenge and have plenty in reserves. Not cool at all Lids !

Let me first say, I have always received solid customer service in person. But quite frankly, their phone # rarely works and when checking on the status of a custom order the phone call either did not go through or disconnected. Finally on Tueaday, 11/12 @ 4:00PM an employee literally picks the phone up and says, "Your hat is not here, we will call you when it's done" *Hangs up - Now that maybe the worst customer service I have ever received. Going forward I will be taking my business to the East Brunswick store....

I walked in looking to buy a hat last night and spent about 15 minutes in the store. The woman working never even acknowledged me. And I mean literally never even said hello to me, the most basic form of communication. She was too busy joking around with a family and even embroidered a hat for them with me just standing there needing help. I eventually found the hat I was looking for and took it to the register and she still ignored me. I’ll never try and take my business to this lids location again. They really need to do a better job training/hiring the people that work.

I been collecting hats from lids for years i have over 150 hats in my collection thus far it is extremely heartbreaking that the pulled the pit bull breed off the customization options i think it’s biased and not ok literally every animal from a cow to a cocker spaniel however NOT ONE PIT BULL i will never support kids again

The downstairs store is 90% Yankees hats. Upstairs, i picked out 2 hats. Was buy 1 get one 50% off. Their credit card machine was not working so i could not pay but associate “Big O” seemed to be more interested in answering his cell phone throughout our transaction than worrying about if i walked out satisfied. Won’t be back.
