We are on vacation from DFW and our 2017 QX60 Infiniti A/C when turned on made rumbling sound. Took into Jimmy the shop owner. He found that it was the A/C coolant fan right next to radiator coolant fan. Found part in town and we took it in next morning and had it back running in 3 hours. These folks are honest. They are fair and they know foreign and domestic cars. If you need car repair in Alamogordo don’t go any where else. Service: A/C installation & repair

I have used SH auto a few times, and I usually never let anyone work on my vehicle but myself. But with work and school I needed it done ASAP. SH installed my new j-pipe with ease and I have zero complaints. My car sounds amazing, they did quality work and even laid down some rags so the old j pipe wouldn’t dirty up my car. Highly recommend them to anyone needing any work done

This is my second vehicle I have take to SH Automotive! They are very kind and if you ask they will answer all of your questions and explain to you what repairs they will be making to your vehicle. My latest vehicle I have taken to their shop was my 2012 GMC Sierra and they did a beautiful job. I thought my truck ran good, but now it runs great. It drives like a dream. And if that’s not good enough all of the work they do is covered by a 100% warranty for 12 months. Not that I have ever had to take my vehicle back for the same issue, but it is comforting to know. They take such pride in their work that they offer that complimentary service. They also look at other things along with the issue you brought it in for. Got my BMW fixed here after no start no crank left me stranded at Walmart. Called, was being towed within the hour, and car finished within the week. Had to replace a starter which is rather entailed on my style car. These guys were professional throughout, even checking with me after repairs were done to see how things were going after a few days. Classy. Not the cheapest auto repair but by far one of the most professional garages I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

I was leaving town on a 18+ hour trip and wanted my car looked over before leaving. They were able to get me in the next day, get my car looked over, and change my oil. One of the techs (Devin I believe, sorry if I got the name wrong) fixed an issue with my exhaust free of charge. If available they even let you take a loaner car! As active duty it’s always nice to find a local shop that takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond what is expected. 10/5 stars if possible.

My husband and I are selective when it comes to choosing a business to care for our vehicles. Jimmy and his staff are top notch. From routine care, to establishing relationships in the local community to hand off your vehicle for finishing touches, they do it all. Most recently we unintentionally ordered the wrong part ourselves and provided it to his team as part of our requested repair. His team worked behind the scenes and were able to get the job done.
