I just went to this location to return a perfume I purchased myself. I called before I drove there to explain it was an online purchase and that I used my Sephora credit card and was told I can get a store credit but not a refund to my card. I was fine with that because I didn’t want to drive all the way to colonie with my kids. When I got there I was told because I didn’t have a receipt I couldn’t get a credit back when I showed my email receipt and order number with my id and credit card info. Two different girls said to me then finally the person I spoke to on the phone came and did a override and gave me the store credit also after first telling me shouldn’t couldn’t do it even tho I spoke with her on the phone. I didn’t even get the full refund back apparently mechanicville tax and Clifton park tax percentage is different but I should of got my entire refund I had everything right there in my email and on my Sephora card. I honestly felt like I was being treated like a thief they asked me again and again for my ID and my email to show my order. Like seriously???? Will never shop here again after I redeem the store credit.

I went to the Clifton Park Mall at Sephora 2 nice associates helped me assoc 0940 helped me so much I love my born this way foundation and concealer she matched me to a tee very helpful and knowledgeable I love the origins cleanser , moisturizer , eye cream along with other much needed goodies. So so happy you made my day. The other associate helped me with Dior and Gucci cologne for my sons. Excellent customer service keep up what you do it really made me feel special !!

I’ve gone to this Sephora every single time i’ve needed makeup for my daughter or gifting someone else makeup. I’m usually in and out and straight to the point and the staff have always been great at helping me look for the products i’ve gone in to buy. Unlike other reviewers I have been lucky enough to have always encountered staff that are helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The reason I gave four starts is due to only single visit.... I went in looking for a perfume to give as a christmas gift, staff was great and suggested a perfume which I immediately fell in love with the scent. I purchased the perfume, took it home to wrap. The next day I went back and purchased the same perfume but in the biggest bottle for myself, went to my car, opened it and was so happy to have the perfume for myself seeing as I almost never gift myself anything. Christmas day came and the person I was going to gift the first perfume to never showed so I gave it to my teenage daughter, she opened it and immediately told me that it didn’t smell the same...... The first perfume I bough as a gift was the wrong one I was given to smell at the store BUT thankfully the staff that sold me mine gave me the correct one and surprisingly my teen daughter actually liked the first bottle. Anyways.... four stars because now I will have to double check everything when I go back to make purchases all because one person didn’t make sure they sold me the right scent.

I usually wait until I need a couple things. Six out of nine visits they are out of the product I need. I live in Clifton Park so it was convenient. I don't even try anymore as it's frustrating. I go to Colonie Center Sephora.

I went in and spoke to Lindsey and told her my dilemma of trying to match my skin for a new foundation but told her it’s been hard since we can’t take off our masks. She was superrrrrrrr helpful and friendly. And worked with me to do what she could. I really appreciated it!

this store has friendly employees, very helpful. Sad to see the bad reviews on here talking about old employees (and management) that don’t even work there anymore. Definitely not reflective of the staff now. Good job guys making this store awesome again! Im a very happy customer! Just got a too faced palette and milk mascara today. Was greeted immediately and assisted. Store also looks fantastic and very clean!

The Sephora employees at this location are incredibly rude including the manager. I use to shop here for convience as I live close by .. but their attitudes have maintained so annoying at this location throughout the years that I've reached the point where I rather order online and wait for it to be shipped to my house.

This store has very poor customer service, I had horrible interactions with not one associate but two. And instead of assisting customers they prefer to chit chat amongst themselves. Will not be shopping at this location.

I DREAD coming here!!!!! They have the WORST attitude and the "manager" ( if you can even call her that, clearly she can't manage her store) only gives extremely tiny amounts of product for "samples". An Insulting amount actually, you can't even use it for a spot test!!! She claims that it's their "policy" to only give a tiny amount for a spot test. BULL S***!!!!!! I KNOW their policy and that is NOT IT!!!!! I decided last time she handed me an already tiny sample container that barely had a dot of product in it that I almost couldn't even see, that I was cool on her and that whole store and that I would NEVER go there again, plus they only take makeover appointments when it's convenient for them. Not ok!! I feel extremely uncomfortable going in there and I always feel like I'm annoying the staff by just being there. They make it obvious they don't want to help you! I Will never go there again!!

Every time I come in here, no one ever asks me if I need assistance or shows any interest in wanting to help me. It makes me feel uncomfortable to ask anyone for help there. I dread going into the Sephora in Clifton Park knowing that the staff is un-friendly. I rather drive an extra half hour to go to the one at Crossgates Mall or Colonie.
