I have been bringing my dog to Banfield in Farmingdale for over 5 years. Lately, the service has been becoming increasingly worse. I have been treated like my dog and I are an inconvenience to the front desk. I have had to call a number of time to just to get a perception refilled more then a few times. I drive 30 minutes to bring my dog to this Banfield. Shame.

Banfield has changed dramatically over the last 4 years. I will not be continuing my pets health plan nor would I recommend them to anyone new. There are some amazing employees coupled with some less than stellar ones. They have a very high pet to vet ratio (pre pandemic). At one point they were down to 3 vets with over 3000 pet clients (I was given this as an excuse as to why appointments were booking a month out for healthy checkups and 2 weeks for an ear infection). I hope opening the new location and recruiting new vets will do the trick. But as for the near future we will be looking for a new vet.

Only 2 negative things I encounter here. The price is way more than it could or should be. They could charge way less and still make more than enough profit. 2nd is if you choose to charge more than the average place at least keep your products fully stocked which is not always the case

Love Banfield, have been using them for quite some time and short of a major emergency they are very good, quality of doctors in my opinion have gotten better, they always cared but seemed too "busy" not the case over the last year, highly recommend their "insurance" plan well care, it's excellent for keeping your pup or kitty in top top shape, still a place I would recommend

I booked an appointment for my new puppy a month ago. She needs heartworm medicine. I received a call two days before my appointment that they will not take my dog because they are not taking any new clients. I wish they would have reached out sooner so I could get my pup her medicine. If they were not excepting new clients then I should not have been allowed to make the appointment in the first place.

Very good service - you book appointment so you will not wait too long - checking my dog carefully and wrote prescription and gave the medication against resonable price for both services and medications. I wish not go again for my dog health issue 😊 but this is recommended place for pets who needs care

Thank u thank u thank u to the staff!! Everyone was exceptional from Brittany, to nurse Kristen, if not her name I’m sorry, to the dr. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help ease the pain of having to put your fur baby down. When I decide to adopt another kitty, this is the ONLY place I will ever bring my fur baby too. Again from the bottom of my heart I can’t thank u enough for making me feel at ease during this time. 💖💖💖

i love these guys! always so friendly, place is very clean. Dr Morrison is a life saver. I have the wellness plan and I was NOT pushed into it like others were saying. I have no complaints about this place and I don't use any other vet. Thank you Banfield and Dr Morrison! From, Jordyn & Mia!
