I planned my whole work day today around an 11am appt I made a week ago. When I got there a little before 11am, I was told very matter of factly that they couldn’t groom my dog today. I asked why. Man said “short staffed”.I asked why he didn’t call me. He couldn’t give me an answer. I asked again. No answer. Then he said “Look what time it is.” I said it’s the time they told me. He said “They shouldn’t have told you that”. So unreliable. Done with this place.

I’ve brought my Siberian husky here 3x now. The first time was good, 2nd time was decent, but this last time was today and it was bad. I do not know what they used but be careful bringing your dogs here, my dog has had a severe irritation in both his eyes since we picked him up. His eyes are extremely bloodshot and he is experiencing discomfort. I’ve called attempting to figure out what was used in his eyes but i haven’t gotten an answer. I’m so disappointed in this experience. I will never bring Casper here again.

If I could give a -10 stars I would. Today was the 3rd time we took our cat to Pampered Paws Pet Grooming, for her spa day (wash, brushing, trim the nails, clean the ears). My cat was closely shaved - she's almost bald. She's traumatized, her meows don't even sound like normal, she's walking around in circles as if she doesn't know what to do. Firing the person who traumatized her is NOT enough, not charging us for her being traumatized is NOT enough. When the owner was asked why didn't she monitor her worker, her response was that she was working also - Not Acceptable.

I called last minute and the owner was graciously able to fit in a quick trim for my little dog. My pup came back literally shining and smelling so great, her paws and face were trimmed so cute! Such a warm and friendly place from the receptionist to the owner, this will definitely be my go to spot even though it’s pretty far from my home! I highly recommend.

Pampered Paws has always been my go to for my dog grooming. Monica and Victor take excellent care and do a beautiful job. My old English sheepdog went for years when they were on Hartsdale Ave. Our new Bernedoodle Marnie has been groomed since a puppy and we couldn’t be happier. My neighbors always comment and several have started bringing their pups. Thank you for your safe and caring service!

I’ve been taking my “girls” to Pampered Pets since they were on Hartsdsle Ave & since my 12-year old was a puppy. I used to live locally...now I travel 30 miles just to have Bianca groom them. That should tel you how good she is. Bianca is a top-notch groomer; she is patient & sweet with my furbabies, cuts their coat the way I ask her (the way I like them to look). The shop is always clean & smells nice, no matter how many dogs there are. Highly recommended—I wouldn’t take my pups elsewhere.

We had been very happy with Bianca’s grooming of our dog in the past and while we still think Bianca is both a good person and does a very nice job grooming our cavapoo’s hair we are now forced to find a new groomer due to a recurring and dangerous issue with how they operate that they fail to substantively address. The problem has to do with their back room staff who have repeatedly cut our dogs nails too short and injured her resulting in bleeding and pain. We are not told of this when we pick her up. instead we have to discover it on our own. When brought to their attention on two prior occasions Bianca apologized but offered no real explanation for this repeated occurrence or any plans to address the problem with their staff. On viewing her nails you can tell that the person cutting them had no idea the appropriate angle and manner to cut a dog’s nails. In the past we had asked to have someone more trained perform the nail care or stop using the old fashioned and archaic nail cutters that are dangerous in untrained hands. Despite this we returned for her most recent grooming and forgot to mention not to cut her nails given our prior experience and upon picking her up found that one of our dog’s rear paws was covered in clotted blood and that the grooming staff had cut half of one of her nails off. Can you imagine how painful that must have been? They again said nothing when we picked her up from her grooming appointment, leaving us to find out how they injured our dog when we got home. I have since found that other reviews have frequently reported this same problem. It’s wholly unacceptable and unprofessional for them to continue to practice this way and injure our dog’s nails on a routine basis.

I have to say, Bianca did a fabulous job on my beautiful English Springer Spaniel, Lola! There was a bit of miscommunication when telling what needed to be done. Once it was brought to their attention, they immediately corrected the problem and now I have a gorgeous dog that I’m proud to show around! They did all the specifications requested on her haircut and now she looks like a show dog! Thanks so much for your service! Will definitely come back!

I love bringing my dog here - Prince loves coming here, they take great care of him and leave him looking so handsome! I always get compliments on his hair! They pay attention to detail and what you want for your dog.
