I come to this Petco because of the services and overall cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. I get my dogs nails clipped and buffed. However, Petco needs to make this a scheduled appointment and not a walk-in, as you take a chance on when your dog can be seen. I live in the Bronx, but I come to this Petco, so scheduling is important for me.

Generally has everything I need. On this particular trip, they were out of the clumping lightweight Unscented litter; and were out of large bags (15lbs and up) of 2 brands of cat food I needed. In fact, were out of the brands in any size. At this point, it shouldn't be about supply chain any more. My supermarkets do carry them.

I had a difficult time at this location regarding an exchange from my online order. They charged me extra although I was exchanging for a size bigger for the same items, saying size change can make a difference so I paid and left the store. But when I checked online I realized that wasn't true, the price doesn't change for the size, so I had to go back again to fix it and spend over half an hour with them to get a refund because they weren't aware of the discount online. They were only able to give me a gift card, which I used online again for the same item that I was holding in the store, but I got an email saying they're out of stock which isn't true, the item is at the register they just didn't put it back on the rack and not checking the store properly... Also the refund amount for the item wasn't correct so I had to spend another half an hour on the phone trying to fix this. Nightmare of an experience. Thankfully Petco was helpful over the phone and fixed it but 3 hours from my Sunday isn't coming back...

This PETCO has a great selection of freshwater fish and supplies! I got the two gourami in my pictures. I also got the 29 gallon tank the blue gourami is in. I like the layout of this store and the selection of products in this specific location is nice.

I had an incredible first time experience with my sweet nugget (almost 12 wk old toy poodle, Toby). I was on vacation in Florida last week and came home to NY with a puppy (my doctor prescribed me an ESA- Emotional Support Animal and suggested a dog). After working on the COVID frontlines for the first year (the worst of it), this puppy has changed my entire life and he is so important to me, so I don’t leave this positive review lightly- I truly had an incredible experience. I’ve been very diligent with his care and a very nervous dog mom (despite growing up with two toy poodles), so the friendliness and attention to my questions and concerns was extremely important to me and appreciated. It started with speaking to Matt and then Pat over the phone to find out if they accepted walk-ins for the vaccination clinic (since all appointments were booked through March, which would have made Toby a month overdue for his shots, which made me really uneasy). I was assured and reassured that my little Toby would be seen. Pat was honest with how busy it was in the AM and suggested I call back at 2pm to see how it was. I was given the green light! It was my first time driving with Toby anywhere, so it was pretty stressful and nerve-racking, so took more than 10mins LOL, but we got there and there were two dogs in front of us- we didn’t wait long at all. The care and professionalism was 20/10. We first met Rebecca, vet assistant, who was warm and welcoming. She answered all of my questions and was clearly knowledgeable on the vaccine schedule for pups. Dr. Jessica Tibbatts and her assistant, Julia S., were phenomenal and not only did Toby love them, but they loved HIM. I couldn’t go in with him (and felt like a mother with my first child haha), so I was so nervous for him to get his shot, but watching through the window, he was in great hands and loved sharing his love with them. I then checked out with this lovely young man and forgive me for forgetting his name, but he was working with a Joanne that day and he was so nice and very efficient (and made me feel calm despite all the anxiety I was feeling for my puppy haha). Returning next month for Toby’s third round of puppy boosters. I’m so grateful for previous amazing reviews; otherwise, I wouldn’t have gone. I truly trust Petco/Vetco. Figured I’d leave my own review so it helps someone else. Thank you so much, Petco!!

I am always on the lookout for new healthy treats that are made in USA for my dogs. In addition, one of my dogs has a digestive issue. For the first time I was able to find all of those things wrapped up in one treat that my dog doesn't regurgitate. Win, win, win, and win

Very complete. You will find most of what you need for all sorts of pets. There is a nice vaccination service with very reasonable prices. There is also a grooming service as well as a training one. You can engrave your pet name on a plate with a dedicated machine. You have a good selection of pretty much everything from trimmers to collars and leashes. There is also a section for fishes and less common pets. A great and very complete shop
