They sold me an Annuity at 50 years old which was absolutely too early. I told him that I thought I was too young for such a high fee product. I bought it anyway against my better judgement. I paid very high fees and got nothing out of it. They received a big commission. I sold it as soon as I could get out. Don't let them coerce you to buy unless you are over 60. They also transferred my sons 529 plans into a regular account, not a 529. I would go elsewhere.
