Was worried about shopping in stores during Covid but this store is very clean. Every pair of glasses were sanitized after use so it definitely made me more comfortable trying frames on. The staff wore masks and assured me that everyone was vaccinated as well. Doctor was informative and thorough. Purchased multiple glasses here and never had an issue once. Always greet me like I'm family 👍

Five Star Service! I came in with my son to purchase glasses. The doctor was fantastic and put my son at ease with his exam. He explained the process before each step he did. Next, we needed to pick out frames. The staff was fantastic! I lost count on the number of glasses he tried on yet the staff encouraged him to try on as many as he needed to and helped him to find the perfect pair. They took extra care in sterilizing each pair of glasses each time he tried a pair on which made us both feel extra comfortable in the cleanliness of the products. We had many questions on different eyeglass features such as anti-reflective and blue light. The staff took the utmost care with us not to mention a boat load of time! Bravo to a company that delivers expert customer service! I have to mention one other thing that I couldn’t believe I was watching unfold. While we were there, there was the NASTIEST customer. She treated the staff like the were her doormat. The staff handled the situation far better than I would have. They maintained their composure and handled the situation like true professionals. So if you want excellent eye care with a friendly and professional staff, head over to Pearl Vision Center in Hauppauge. :- )

The worst customer service I ever experienced. Very expensive and the older woman and her daughter are very nasty and have attitude. Older woman thinks she can play lets make a deal and starts way to high in prices, her daughter backs her up! I can't believe they are in business, between rudeness and rip off! Never ever to go back. Much better deals at American glasses!

I have been going to Pearl Vision in Hauppauge for years now and I have to say it’s always a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing and they take the time to help you pick out your glasses. The amount of eye glasses to choose from is incredible. Dr Bickoff is the best. He is also super friendly and takes his time to answer all questions and concerns. I wouldn’t trust Any other optometrist with my eyes. 5 stars for me.

Hands down the worst experience i’ve had in any retail situation. If you’re looking for a new optometrist i would suggest anywhere but here. I was charged for a contact lens exam then when i wanted to use it at another retailer, they refused to release it to the new doctor. Complete waste of them, no sense of wanting to help their customers. Just overall a terrible experience from start to finish and I’m sorry I ever went there to begin with.

GREAT service!! I was having issues with my insurance and the staff was very helpful. The doctor is AMAZING and actually explains what is going on with your eye. I had mentioned to them that I do not have much time, and they gave me my glasses the same day. I did my eye exam, picked out frames, and got my glasses all in 1:30. AMAZING!

BUYER BEWARE!! I am NOT a complainer but I feel this post is necessary to warn people about this place. Absolute thieves that work there. Old lady makes prices up as she feels fit. She just throws unreasonable prices at you and hopes you accept them. If you complain that the price is high, they say" we can take a few dollars off" and try to make you feel like you are getting a "good deal". They are like car salesmen. They start off crazy high prices and you have to haggle them down. WHO RUNS AN OPTICAL STORE LIKE THAT???? Run from this place.....much, much better prices at other eye glass stores!!!!

I would have given this place a negative star if there was an option available. The prices for frames and lenses are scaled up. I did a comparison with LensCrafters for the same frame and it was 1.5 cheaper than the price here! This place is a pure rip off.. The doctor is a good guy and offers a good service. The rest of the staff do not know what customer service and customer satisfaction means. The owner is an arrogant lady. Only go if you find peace in burning your money and want to get ill treated!
