It's a small shop with a surprisingly large supply of MTG cards. The folks who work here are pretty chill and have always been fair in dealings with me. They buy cards too, usually at around 50-55% face value, which is fair compared to shops in Buffalo. I'd recommend stopping in for a visit if you like MTG or comics in general.

It is a good location but there are very mean and monotone people. The smell also makes the cards change their condition. Uncomfortable being there.

Store seemed to have a large selection. Smelled terrible and the single set booster i bought was very sketchy. (packing was extremely loose the art card and the rare were is the wrong spot, nothing of value in the pack). May have been an off pack idk just be aware.

The owner and his employees are always very helpful and knowledgeable about most of the games in there shop. There is a wide selection of Magic The Gathering card as well as a lot of board games. There is also a wide selection of table top RPG books such as D&D and Pathfinder and many more. There is also a good amount of Warhammer and Warhammer 40K. figures as well as paint for them. Lastly there are also a selection of many comics, games, and even some patches, buttons, and vinyls. All in all this is a great shop for anyone looking to start exploring new games or even a great shop for the experienced collector.

Grand Slam offers everything a good game store should. They even have used vinyl and hobbiest supplies. I go there often and recommend it; 4 stars because customer service can be spotty or absent. Still love the shop, though!

One of the better small-town game stores I've encountered. Huge backstock of old Magic singles, boosters, and boxes, with an excellent selection of classic & popular board games. Solid 40K inventory. Friday Night Magic is fairly competitive, free to play, with WotC Promo prize support. Prereleases here are phenomenal, if a bit top-heavy on prize support.

Small operation. They like to do subscriptions rather than order a lot of extra stock (though they have some, especially the most popular books). I understand this as I have run a small shop in the past and over ordering will kill you cash flow-wise. They appear to be well stocked on MTG and other gaming merchandise. Trevor who is usually working the counter when I go in is pleasant and fairly knowledgeable and will admit if he isn't 100% certain on something rather than feed you a line of BS like people in many shops. They have a lot of back issues but, it is best to ask for assistance as they organization and labelling isn't perfect and Trevor can usually pull the right box out for you quickly. They have done an excellent job in pulling my subscription books (I think they missed one book in about 6 months). They have dice, comic supplies, etc as well at decent prices. They also carry posters and have a lot of vinyl LPs too if that is your thing. Very few complaints. Liz has been very helpful with my monthly orders and the other owner Jay is a decent guy and though not overly chatty he isn't standoffish either. All and all not a bad place and the only game in town.

When I first started buying from Grand Salm, I didn't know any of them. But, after fostering a thoroughly enjoyable envrionment to use all of the various products I have bought there over the last 3 decades, they have become friends. Not often do you make friends at your local card/hobby shop. 10/10, would bang.
