Always reeks of pot when I go in there. Which is super unprofessional. Staff is always acting weird when I go in treating me like a kid etc. I don't go in anymore.

Was on a video call with my family while she was here, we were picking out cute minecraft and gloomy bear accessories and she was showing me some of the merch. While we were talking she was interrupted by the manager with "If I can hear your conversation from halfway across the store then you need to leave." And pointed to the door. He continued to make seriously rude comments (even mocking her!) and tried multiple times to kick her from the store over our video call. The other cashier there agreed to ring her up so she was able to make her purchase and leave. Super unprofessional manager that behaved like a kid throwing a fit over two people having a conversation in a store. Could have simply asked her to turn down her volume.

Was on a videocall doing video shopping with them at half volume with my family (we were shopping for merchandise together and discussing minecraft and gloomy bears, which were being displayed to them on call asking the preference of choice) and instead of asking me to turn it down, I was walked up on, patronized and asked to leave by the manager who was being aggressive and hostile, even pointing towards the door snd getting closer. They mawked me and yelled at me and even scoffed and laughed at me when I said there was more than one way to handle this. I stayed very calm and asked that he could ask me to turn it down and apologized and was met with him flashing his manager badge and telling me to leave. I said he had a heck of an attitude after being mawked and he sneered a "thanks" in toddler like squat and flashed me a taunting smile and a okay symbol with his hand. He continued yelling at me across the store and I exclaimed that he was being much louder than my conversation. He retorted with "boo hoo", and I turned my phone down even further and continued talking. I calmed my family down who was pretty upset by this and exclaimed he must be having a bad day and taking it out on me and continued to cash out, and was kindly met by another employee that checked me out instead and was very nice. I thanked him for his time and told him to have a good day and left. If a young woman at a store that caters very much to her interests can keep their cool in a situation where a 60 year old manager can't at a local fandom store, I don't know what the world has come to. Pretty heart broken I felt outcasted for talking about videogames and shopping at a store with anime, videogames, and shopping. I turned my conversation down even more when requested but I can't believe how I was treated off the bat.

FYE is a relic by a bygone age that has attempted to modernize and done a decent job at it. However, the prices for the items in the store are literally insane. $10 for a MSRP$3.99 booster pack of cards, $30 for a novelty T-shirt, $12.99 for a little mystery box thing that retails for $5 at Walmart. I love to take my kids in there while my wife shops at bath and body works but we leave empty-handed 99% of the time because the extreme price gouging.

Most selection of electronics as well as audio and video in one spot. That being said, you had better know what your looking for before you get there. Sales associates aren't as knowledgeable as they should be in this kind of environment. One might say they're a little slow on the draw. Prices on any new releases are high, but there's a lot of great deals on used movies and music. There's enough merchandise to keep you busy exploring the selections for quite a while.
