Having to eat gluten free is not easy. It was great to be able to talk with someone who understood my dietary restrictions. Awesome burger, juicy, flavorful, fresh on a gluten-free bun, and toasted which is a must with gluten-free. Almost every soup, unless it contains pasta is gluten free, with a corn starch thickener instead of flour. I was even told of the safe for celiac ice cream. My only wish is for a fryer that is separate for fries, even a counter top fryer. French fries are the one thing I really miss with a burger. We will be back. Great food.

The burgers are so dry and gross. Gave it a second chance to for JUST ice cream but every flavor I picked they didn't have even tho they were advertised on there wall menu. So instead of taking those flavors down (assuming out of laziness) they just leave them up there to waste our time ordering 10 times for them not to have the flavors. It's a joke. So definitely won't be back for dry burgers or ice that they don't even have. Needless to say I walked out with no ice cream. SMH

Excellent food, no matter what you get. Fresh burgers, great chicken and the best soups around. And don't leave without one of their milkshakes. The best I've ever had.

The nicest girl works here. Oh yeah, get a burger because they taste great. They're definitely not frozen. I have to go back for the chicken sandwich. I also appreciate that they have one of those custom soda machines where you can mix your own drink.

Apparently it was recently rated best burger in New York State. We totally agree! Super tasty burger! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area and also recommend it to our friends. We had the double mushroom burger, and a regular cheeseburger. Buns are succulently soft and meat is just the right amount of juicy. They have plenty of parking and plenty of outdoor seating which is perfect for these lovely weather days. The regular fries, however, are nothing to phone home about (they seem overcooked, or old and re-cooked), so skip those or try some of their other fries selections (I'll update this review next time I visit and either try their regular fries again or try another ). Please note that they do have a 4% upcharge if paying by credit card, although they advertise it as a "4% discount when paying with cash". In any case, not a big deal in my opinion. Very much worth the price even with the upcharge/discount/whatever you want to call it. Skip the fast food spots and come here for tasty, juicy burgers. Hands-down, this is our go-to spot for burgers in the Port Jervis area!

Usually love it there but today I guess was an off day. Waited at minimum a half an hour for 2 hot dogs and a BBQ chicken quesidilla. The hot dogs were nothing special. Also had fries that were a little overcooked. Didn't bother with dessert today because the food took so darn long.

Stopped at @bensfresh_portjervis_ny this Memorial Day We had a chicken bacon ranch #quesadilla and Ben’s Chicken & Fries. I also had the famous Cannoli Parfait YUM.

When you walk into this place mass confusion reigns. You order up front and they either bring your food or you come and get it, depending on what I don't know. People are yelling across the room and kids are standing everywhere waiting for take out. The employees are all doing at least 3 things at once. The girl who helped us was on the phone taking an order. She had to stop to put out cups for ketchup, then had to go back because the ketchup was empty. So it took a while to get our food but not an excessive amount of time. The portions are ridiculously large. One order of fries is enough for 2, even 3 people. The food is good. I don't like the idea of chicken finger sandwiches because the chicken is constantly falling out. Sandwiches huge, but needed more sauce IMO. French fries tasty but not crisp enough. The gimmick here is adding pasta to wraps. Not sure if I'm a fan of it but it's not a bad idea. I recommend giving it a try but not if you plan a quiet conversation.
