Don’t see Pete. Charged 145 dollars for a tax return on a simple W4 & unemployment for a total income of 30K that took a total of 15 minutes to file. No credits, no itemizing, Nothing. Wasn’t asked my school loans I pay money on, nothing. Worked from home, didn’t ask me about saving on that.. didn’t recommend filing for head of household, nothing. Just asked if I donated. You go to a tax person because you don’t know everything you could be getting a break on.. this guy clearly doesn’t know either. Meanwhile I paid top dollar . Then says how cool it is he was giving me a 25 dollar coupon. Yeah, probably because you ripped me off. Was supposed to be 80 dollars when I made the appointment. Could’ve paid someone 60 dollars to file them online! Also was told me paying 300 dollars was no big deal-not the end of the world. Glad to know they know my situation to think owing that when you make little to no money isn’t a big deal, especially in this economy & thats an entire paycheck for you. :) GO TO REAL ACCOUNTANTS. If you’re going to use someone from H&R Block, might as well do it yourself for FREEEE.

I went here after another HR Block location failed to file my taxes. Tax “expert” used tax laws that were no longer applicable and said i owed money to the IRS. I had a feeling something was wrong so I went to an accountant who informed me that they did in fact file my taxes wrong. This was in summer of 2021 and I am STILL dealing with the consequences of their negligence. Plus they never refunded me my $50 fee meaning i paid for them to delay my return for a year and put me in collections with the IRS. Please don’t use chains like these go to a place that actually cares about helping you with your taxes.

They walked me through every step of the process and made sure I understood every piece that went into my taxes. They were very kind, humorous, and overall professional. If you need tax help I would highly recommend them!

This was my first time coming to H&R Block and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Peter was the tax expert who helped me and he was wonderful. He was very organized and he answered all my questions. My taxes were done within an hour. I will definitely be returning next year and highly recommend them.
