Just had the most wonderful experience with a return transaction with manager Ajalon at the TJ Max Poughkeepsie location. She delivered true customer service and was most attentive and helpful. I will be back. Thank you ! I also want to add that the store was bright , clean , and well stocked with amazing things !! This is my new go to store for sure !

I get my gourmet spices and seasoning from here. With the occasional clothes shopping. As of late they been having a lot of great cartoons character clothes line.

I really hate shopping but we needed new pillows and my wife was working. I was on my way to Kohls but my daughter said to try this places (s) because it was less expensive. To my surprise it was a relatively pleasant experience. I only gave it 3 stars because of my disdain for shopping but it wasn't terrible. I'd still rather be at the bar though.

TJ Maxx & HomeGoods = Self Explanatory. Everyone knows why and what they come here for. All I will say is just have patience when you arrive because if you're in a rush, you may miss a good deal. Happy Shopping!

It was like Christmas again. It was a weekday and the line was ridiculous! The cashiers kept looking at the line, and talking amongst themselves. It was a good 45 min waiting on line. Make sure you go as soon as they open, or when they are close to closing!

Really love the way the merchandise is laid out. You cannot walk in the store and not find something great to add to your home decor. Staff very helpful

The old store across the street was very spacious! This new store is too small and too crowded and there is less merchandise to choose from. They lost a lot of square footage when they built it. The aisles are extremely narrow. If someone has a small shopping cart in the aisle and you have a small shopping cart in the same aisle, you can't get past each other. You have to back out of the aisle. The aisles are, also, extremely short. There used to be a large selection of everything. Now there is a very limited selection. Each individual department is very small and limited. The merchandise is thrown all over the shelves. Recently, I was looking for some fancy dinnerware. The selection was very limited and there were chipped and broken plates on the shelves. I couldn't find 2 plates that were in decent enough condition to purchase. The matching salad bowls were across the aisle and if I hadn't turned completely around I would have never seen them. Too many damaged items on the shelves. The store gets extremely crowded and at times, it is impossible to find a parking spot. I've had to park all the way over in Wendy's parking lot. The clothing section is just as bad, especially the shoe section. Clothes and shoes are all over the place and a mess. The line for the registers is still a nightmarish mile long. The staff is not friendly at all and not helpful at all. Actually, the staff has not been friendly at all and have never been out on the floor to help, even in the old store. The crowding in this store is a sure way to spread COVID! I will not be returning to this store. It's easier to shop online or in other stores.

Such deals! I finally got the glass pumpkins I wanted. Many goodies and beautiful decorating items at fair prices. I love trying new foods and items. I found some great things for my office cubby to decorate with a few things. I don’t go often but when I do it is a haul! Looking to decorate a room and I got some ideas!

If there's anything that you need to make your home feel complete, and look "finished", you'll find it here! The array of beautiful home decor pieces is just fabulous! I always find myself picking up items that I didn't come in to buy, I HAVE to have. My home is looking so warm and welcoming, there's some pretty little touch everywhere the eye can see.
