Best clothing store in Poughkeepsie, New York (NY) 2024

Just had the most wonderful experience with a return transaction with manager Ajalon at the TJ Max Poughkeepsie location. She delivered true customer service and was most attentive and helpful. I will be back. Thank you ! I also want to add that the store was bright , clean , and well stocked with amazing things !! This is my new go to store for sure ! ~nancy

Went to the mall yesterday to buy a pair of socks for my son for school before entering this store the manager was looking through the display glass followed me up and down with a disgusted look on her face, I entered the store when to pick up the sock the manager then approached me to tell me they are closing in 2 minutes I said ok continue to look for the size that would fit she then returned to tell me she is close and she can't check me out I beg her saying ms its just a pair of socks with my son standing next to me she told me she can't she will get in trouble if she cash me out after closing and she is gonna ask me to leave or she will have to call security to escort me out. All this just for a pack of socks I have never seen white people threatening there own kind to have then removed from any store I have been in. She was very rude and disrespectful to me for no reason. Another coworker came and checked me out after I insisted that instead of calling security let's just call the cops like they always do on black people because we are the aggressors always. I will no longer be shopping here I will take my black money some place else. ~Dianndra

this poor target has horrible customers who trash the store and leave items all over the floor, but the staff is very helpful and friendly even when they are being treated so terribly. target corporate should make their jobs more appealing (better pay and benefits) so that they aren’t consistently understaffed and overwhelmed by their customer base. if corporate paid attention they would know this is the reason for all their bad reviews. ~Kaitlin
