Went to the mall yesterday to buy a pair of socks for my son for school before entering this store the manager was looking through the display glass followed me up and down with a disgusted look on her face, I entered the store when to pick up the sock the manager then approached me to tell me they are closing in 2 minutes I said ok continue to look for the size that would fit she then returned to tell me she is close and she can't check me out I beg her saying ms its just a pair of socks with my son standing next to me she told me she can't she will get in trouble if she cash me out after closing and she is gonna ask me to leave or she will have to call security to escort me out. All this just for a pack of socks I have never seen white people threatening there own kind to have then removed from any store I have been in. She was very rude and disrespectful to me for no reason. Another coworker came and checked me out after I insisted that instead of calling security let's just call the cops like they always do on black people because we are the aggressors always. I will no longer be shopping here I will take my black money some place else.

Can I give no stars please? Manager was extremely rude to me (and in front of my child). I was being nice. She should never speak to a customer that way and use those words to a customer. Can someone please do something about that manager? as she is all over this store's reviews. I'll be calling the corporate office and then my lawyer. I felt that I was reverse discriminated against (as I am Caucasian). I have never felt that before.

I love the clothes, pricing, and benefits of being a card holder. However the staff in this particular store need to be replaced. I have never seen such a poor demeanor working in a store with the public and especially a children's store. You can be as respectful and kind as can be but the staff seems to dislike every customer. Now, I know it's not me as I stood there and witnessed the negative interactions with every single customer ahead of me. Also to read the reviews for the Poughkeepsie NY store gives more confirmation.

So first of all we went inside of here and my phone didn’t have a proper mask on but the lady who is short with brown hair constantly harass her about her mask even though they had a full box of mass is at the register and could’ve at any time told her or tell her she could’ve had a mask she didn’t even ask us if we needed any help just kept talking about pull up your mask horrible service nasty employees

My order was sent to an address in Florida and I live in New York. I tried several times to get Children Place to cooperate with me to retrieve my items but they refused to help. There customer service is extremely awful. Now I lost $155.22.. .the amount I paid for my order. I would never ever recommend Children Place to even my worst enemies....I will never ever buy anything from them again.....especially online. The only reason why they received a one star is because that's the only way I could write this review. They are the ones who made the mistake of sending my order to Florida....now I will have to suffer the consequences. Worst place to shop ever....I'm planning to sue them...
