The extra block is worth the hike for groceries. They have the best price and size of Omega 3 Mix in the area. I grab 2 just to match the price of 1 smaller one at the same price! The Meat's ok. Sometimes lame. Nice open Ice Cream freezer. So nice it lured into grabbing a couple pints. And I'm not really an Ice cream guy! Oh, and they close the latest in the area, 'cus I'm that guy that needs to get the market

Friendly, the store manager or owner was polite professional, he approached to me and let me know that store rules is not to put any grocery products in your shopping bag, USE store cars 😉 👍

Ruthless management, they locked me and my car all night in their parking lot and closed the gate on me on a saturday June 11, the attendent came and looked at me while eating as they close at 9, and sneaked and locked the gate @ 9:20 pm without even telling me that he was going to lock it and lock me inside and dissapeared, i was locked from 9 pm when they closed till 8 am till the morning shift came, while i was eating a cheese cake i bought from them. I called the police, they said we cant get your car out. I will make sure to sue them, i am just saving the lawyers fee. Dont recomend buying from them , and all my community will never use C Town stores. That attendent should be fired.

I was rudely accosted by the manager here today for attempting to shop using my own cart. I could feel this man watching me and following me, before he loudly and accusatorially announced in front of several other customers that this was not allowed. He repeatedly mentioned that I’d missed the printed paper sign they have located at the front which states you must use their shopping carts; the way he spoke to me made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It was tactless and needlessly embarrassing, I still don’t understand why he felt the need to cause a scene over a mere misunderstanding. I approached him afterwards to let him know I felt the situation was handled inappropriately and his excuse was to blame the excessive volume of his voice on a sinus infection affecting his hearing—regardless of if this is the case, the situation was handled poorly. In spite of their pitiful selection and dilapidated facilities, I’ve overlooked the fact that I can never complete my shopping list here, and have chosen to support my local store for about two years, until today. I left and will not be returning to this store, I would say be weary of coming here if you want to have a pleasant experience. The other staff here have always been lovely, but the manager is in desperate need of some interpersonal skills if he’s going to be on the floor interacting with the public.

I'd rather Shop here over Ozone Park Stop & Shop any day. The store is small, but they keep the shelves well stocked and organized. The fresh meat section has a good variety and superior quality over anything Stop & Shop has. Good luck trying to find a Ribeye or even a Chuck Steak at S&S on the weekends. The deli counter serves up your deli slices the way you like and the checkout lines are always fast and short! During the entire pandemic they managed to keep product on the shelves (Even Toilet Paper), not so much for C-Town's competitors. Just make sure you bring your own bags.
