This is a pretty good ShopRite, but it seems to have gone downhill this year. The store was remodeled a few years ago and looks great inside. It’s clean for the most part and carries a large selection. The produce dept is good, with a wide selection of fresh foods. The seafood dept is good, the fish looks fresh with a wide variety. Meat dept has a large selection of fresh meats. The bakery dept is also good with a wide selection of cakes, cookies, muffins and other baked goods. The deli and prepared foods depts are great with a large selection of foods. I bought a chicken sandwich here and it was very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Like all supermarkets, check expiration dates on what you’re buying. I have seen expired items on the shelves so definitely make sure to check the dates. Also, while most of the store is clean, the dairy cases are filthy in a few sections. There’s visible dirt and mold on the shelves were the yogurts and cheeses are, that area definitely needs cleaning. Also, the outside of the store is very messy with litter scattered around near the side of the store and loading docks. I’m not a big fan of the parking garage either, especially when it gets crowded on weekends. This location seems to have gone downhill this year under the current management, especially since Newburgh closed, there are more issues now than there were in the past. It’s unfortunate because the store is very nice inside, the staff are friendly, and there’s a huge selection many different products. Overall a pretty good, nicer ShopRite that could be managed a bit better than it currently is.

Poorly stocked shelves, items have no price tags on numerous items. Sale items that are popular are very poorly stocked. Worker need to get the ear buds out of thier ears so they can help you when you try to get thier attention. Cashiers need alot more training at their jobs. Shopping carts need to be rounded up and brought back in side the store.

Thank you Daniel from Produce who saved the day! I had 5 and 0 balloons from Amazon that I had inflated with helium . Well, 1 popped - I called shoprite and spoke with Daniel - he had it for me right away. Then, when I got to the part, the zero had deflated - I called daniel again and he had one made for me right away- he saved the day! Thanks Daniel for going above and beyond! Just awesome!

Always out of stock on basic items. Always crowded. Compatible pricing in most dry goods. I found the meats to be priced higher than other grocery stores within the 1 mile radius but still competitive if you didn’t want to bounce around store.

Always clean and busy. Haven't been in awhile but now it's the only one near me since Newburgh closed. Was excited to see the a nice variety of non dairy products..There hard to find in our area at a decent price..

I love going to the ShopRite of Vails gate in New Windsor it is such a cool store. I love the wood paneling on the deli section wall where the bakery is it just feels like it's in another city and I love the variety of foods that they offer and the sale prices it is not to be believed. my husband and I go there often to buy our food because sometimes you can't get things that the other store that you can get over there in New Windsor.

The best food shopping experience. The personal are helpful. They are stores within a store. You have fresh bakery, hello, Chinese food, sub hero section, cheese gourmet section, and good produce. I love it, you got to go and see for yourself...
