Went to return an item. The guy there was with somebody and I understand I had to wait he didn’t even bother to ask what I needed anyways about 10 min later another employee comes back from break I guess. Her attitude wasn’t so great she acted like she didn’t wanna be there. I just wanted to get the heck out.

I ordered a phone and had it to picked up at the location. The store has yet to open in two days with no way of contacting them. I don't understand how the hours were confirmed two days ago when the store ain't open yet. Very unprofessional. I wasn't the only customer out there waiting. To top it off the neighborhood said its regular for them to open whenever they want. They say it's due to lack of staff but there's no help wanted sign. DONT GO HERE TRUST ME I STILL DONT HAVE MY PHONE

First time getting a new phone at an authorized reseller and not a Verizon store, and I was very pleased with the process. It took only about 20 minutes which included transferring all data to My new phone and erasing my old phone so I could trade it in. These guys had inventory that the Verizon stores did not.

The young woman I dealt with, Taylor, was incredibly helpful and patient. We experienced some difficulties with tech support and customer service but Taylor persisted and resolved the issue. I'd highly recommend this store for its service and personal attention to the customer.

Russell Cellular is the WORST phone store that I have ever visited. To make a long story short, this store ripped me off by convincing me to purchase a phone under false pretenses regarding their return and exchange policy. For context, Verizon corporate gives customers 30 days from the activation of a new device for returns and exchanges. Russell led me to believe that they have the same policy but after a series of back and forth conversations with them and corporate, I was told that they would not honor this. Why? Because Russell counts off from when they ordered the phone and they penalized me for the fact that there is a current supply backup. Something that has nothing to do with the customer! So now I am stuck with a phone I don't want. I once met the previous owner of this store and he said that "its important to support black owned business." But after this experience, I see EXACTLY why black business have a high failure rate. Because stores like Russell take no accountability or support their customers. This is what I get for trying a black owned, 3rd party distributor. I am a resident of the town of South Orange and I will make sure to spread the word about how poor this retailer is and that none of my people ever patronize it. My advice to you reader, is that you avoid theft and frustration by taking you business elsewhere. At least to a fully certified Verizon store.

Truly my experience at the Russell Verizon Store was absolutely amazingly awesome. Their attention to detail and deep knowledge of all things Cellular phone and accessories related was very impressive. I was greeted from the door and made to feel like my concerns were their concerns. I can’t express enough how proud I am of this black own business located right in the heart of South Orange, New Jersey. I look forward to coming here again for all my cell phone needs. You will want to make Russell Verizon store your one stop shop as well.

Jeremiah helped us at the store. Even though he was very busy with other customers, he was extremely efficient and extremely courteous! Also very knowledgeable. It’s time to promote him :-) but do not take him away from Customer Service!

Ashley, the store manager, did an amazing job helping me set up a new phone after I lost my iPhone 10 max traveling. She connected a new iPhone 12 Pro Max, installed a new screen protector and sold me a dual port phone charger. My experience as the Verizon South Orange store rivals the shopping experience I used to get at the Apple store in New York! The perfect place for new phones or accessories.
