This staple of Watervliet is one of my favorite spots to get lunch. Skip any fast food place one time and try Gus's and you will be pleased. If you want good food at a fair price and fast this is the place for you. It might not be an impressive exterior or interior but it's not about that. It's about the hot dogs. Just remember that before you go.

Literally best mini hotdogs I’ve ever had in my life. I love to go there with my dad. We get like 6 or so everytime. I recommend “The Works” meat dog, mustard, onion. INCREDIBLE! Fast and great quality and taste. I really wish they did delivery since I’m in Latham. I’d buy It all the time haha

I am very conflicted in writing this review. I know this restaurant is a legendary staple in Watervliet. On a recent visit to Cohoes Falls, going to Gus’s was a must do. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my dogs. I probably should have picked different toppings, which I Will do if I ever return to the area- which I hope to. If I return and get a different hot dog topping, I will revise my review! The onions were no good for me. PS- juice pictures is not available as a beverage purchase choice.

Best deal going for some of the best food in the capital district. Steve and the gang only do a few things, but those are the best. Perfect tiny snappy hotdogs with great toppings, fast service, and you can't beat the price. My wife and I regularly travel over 30 minutes just to satisfy a craving that only Gus's Hotdogs can fill!

Stopping through and so so glad I did. Outstanding food at a great price! Lunch for two was under $15. Outstanding. The smells emanating from the window while you place your order had me melting in a little puddle. We’ll be back through on our way home!

Awesome hotdogs for cheap! 1$ - no joke. Classic menu, dogs, burgers, sausage and peppers. Load it all up with the works. The meat sauce is the star here. Reminds me of central CT style meat sauce. Check out Capitol Lunch in New Britain CT if you like these dogs.
