Hated this Tailgate. Snobby people that look miserable. Nothing says true farmers but just selling veggies to look cultured. Rude vendors. Cheese ladies attitude was about as molded as their cheese products smelled. Try smileys flea market if you looking for good vegetables.

Great mix of vendors (produce, meat, dairy, honeys and jams) with an addition of espresso and tea carts and live music. Nearby parking was free to market customers. Vendors accept SNAP and credit cards but cash is always king.

Lovely people, very knowledgeable and helpful. I got some wonderful artisan bread. Some dicon(?) greens and the most delightful macaroons from the Beeswax and Butter man. Don't miss those. Blessings to all!

We are so lucky to have this tailgate market! Thank you so much especially for opening in April 2020 when the pandemic first hit. It was so nice to be able to get fresh produce and support our local farmers last year. So nice to see this market grow larger every year. Also, 2021's resident jazz band is awesome!

Love this market! So much more than fresh vegetables, which they have a fantastic selection of, but they also have fish, meat, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, flowers, milk, and so much more.

I love the West Asheville Tail Gate Market! You can find all sorts of interesting things! There's always plenty of organic produce. You can also find vendors with various items, such as hand made jewelry, healthy tintures, grass fed meat, eggs and a lot more. There's usually live music from local musicians. I think it's a different group each week. I highly recommend the West Asheville Tail Gate Market! It's on Tuesday afternoons.
