Thanks HomeTrust for completely abandoning your Rutherfordton, NC customers. How is it convenient to travel into another county just to make a simple deposit or to conduct banking business? HomeTrust, at the very least, could have left behind a stand-alone ATM. I will be setting up a new account elsewhere, and will then close my HomeTrust account, and move my funds.

I am 87 years old. Been isolated for 10 months and needed to setup a savings account, I did not want to go inside. When I told them (by phone) They said they would have everything ready when I got there. Everything was done professionally and according to my request. Very good Job by all. Linda Martin

Very disappointed! I referred my husband to open an account and Lynn Bradshaw yelled from her office while sitting down at her desk for us to come in. She rolled her eyes at questions asked and was very unfriendly, definitely not referring others here.

Do not like this bank. Most of the people are not super friendly, and the feeling of the bank is not warm and inviting at all. Tellers know nothing about the different accounts available and dont make you feel welcome if you do not already have an account with them but come to cash a check written from an account. Had me finger print, sign, and took license just to cash, but yet would cash for someone else without any of that. I have no negative background in any way and found this to be discriminatory and wrong. They state they follow certain policies, but each teller does differently.
