This is a roach Infested place, you pay for the monthly.pest control fee and they never show up! The closets and cabinets have mold and moisture in them! The dog park has wholes all in the fence you can't even let your animals run in there. My heat never cuts off I have to do it by the breaker and the air barely cools off because the box units are so out dated. I have called 4 different occasions and have got the run around. The offices management has a very bad lack of communication they have one receptionist who checks messages from Tenants and one who answers the call if they are ever in the office at all! Yet rhe problems.are never fully addressed. It's cost $2.50 to wash a small load of laundry? You have to pay to use the gym🤣 I have dead roaches in the light fixtures and need a latter to get th.out they still haven't removed them and I moves here early September. I requested a new apartment due to reports or it recently being completely flooded out.. and again no response. Save your money and your family for living in a slum!

UPDATE. I went to Briarwood Apartment office and reported that I was moving out on a specific date since the 12 month lease was long up and I had been renting thereafter on a month to month basis, which was ridiculously overpriced to almost double after the expiration of the lease. The rent was paid upfront but I moved out way sooner. The office was very well informed of that. I cleaned out the entire apartment, except carpet steam cleaning, which I would consider normal wear and tear and also I didn't leave anything behind as can be seen on attached photos. I have kept bills of what has been replaced and the proof of rental portal including the date I moved. Move forward to months later and I get a credit report notification that my good credit score went down drastically due to 1.446 dollars owed to Briarwood Apartments. The staff is super friendly when applying for a place, show you a renovated model (show room) apartment with updated appliances until you sign a lease and hand you the keys to your ACTUAL place of their choice, which is a completely outdated, old, ran down version with ancient old appliances. Walls are caked up with paint to cover dent marks. Cracks in walls and floors. 20 year old stoves and refrigerators. ROACHES. Steam cleaned old carpets and in 2 weeks you will see the old stains again. When calling the office about the roaches who seem to be the actual tenants, the office ladies brush it off nonchalant by responding....oh ok, what YOU can do is!!! Trash everywhere. Shards of glass on the ground. The latches and fences at the dog park are not secure. Quick cheap fixes and patch ups everywhere. Tenants are being watched by maintenance and get reported to the office who comes and goes, who visits whom and for how long, what kind of cars people drive and their activities. Also they seem to be targeting random tenants, coming up with bogus reports to the office and the next day you get a notice on your door which states VlOLATlONS and made up FEES. When going to the office it's all about agreeing with them and you end up walking out of the office with the option in mind if you don't like it then move out. Take note again.....When the office read a review, they respond with.....I'm sorry for your experience with Briarwood!!!

Unpleasant and uncomfortable, can’t say how many roaches in the apartments they adapt to poison too. Roof leak issue never resolved. Water is off weekly, Outdated plugs, Disgusting shower & Bathroom sinks. Tiny toilets. (1st floor) will hear neighbors every footstep..

Becoming A Part Of This Community Has Been Nothing Less Than Wonderful. Ms.Jessica & Ms.Chanetta Have Been Such A Pleasure To Consult With As Far As Anything You Can Possibly Think Of In Regards To The Community, Community Guidelines, Move In Information, Physical Tours, Everything! These Wonderful Ladies Will Help You Every Step Of The Way. They Do Get Pretty Busy Which Is To Be Expected But If They Can't Answer Immediately They Respond To Voicemails And Emails As Soon As They Can. I Was Looking Into This Community Almost A Month And A Half In Advance And They Still Answered All My Questions And Walked Me Through The Entire Process And I Was Even Able to Get A Tour The First Day I Showed Up Which Is A Huge Plus!! You Aren't Forced To Sign Either. Unless You Are Content With Everything That Has Been Provided/Shown To You And All Questions Have Been Answered Properly, At No Point In Time Will You Feel Pressured Or Feel Like You As A Possible Tenant Aren't Being Taken Care Of. The Community Is Pretty Calm, Everyone Greets Eachother From My Experience, The Pool Is Regularly Cleaned, Workorders Are Taken Into Account With No Hassle, Online Payment Options, Community Provided Chip/Card For The Laundry Its Great! I Love It Here And Im Definitely Happy I Chose Briarwood Apts :)

The place is really quiet and serene. The office people, especially the Assistant Property Manager, are really accommodating. As for the actual unit, I got more than what I was expecting, it was clean, cozy, and spacious. I am so far satisfied.

My name is Jeaneatha Dixon and my experience in becoming a new resident in Briarwood has been awesome. I have been helped by Jessica and she has gone above and beyond in assisting me. I had a short notice of a rental increase at my past residency and had to make a quick decision on terminating the lease and with such a short notice I had no idea what I would do and then my daughters Tina and Candice referred me to Jessica and shared with me how their experience was and how such an amazing person Jessica is. Jessica is very professional and respectful. My appointment time to meet with Jessica to sign my lease was at 11am. I actually had to work on that day and did not get to make it to my appointment by 11 so I contacted Jessica and let her know that I was at the bank and that I would be in around 11:30, Jessica assured me that was ok and that she would see me then and we all know how busy banks can be so unfortunately I still was not finished at the bank by 11:30. It wasn’t until around 12:30 that I actually made it to meet with Jessica and even though it was Jessica’s lunch time, she still was patient with me and went through the paper work in a professional way and made me feel very welcomed. While still waiting to go to lunch Jessica still took me on a walk through through my apartment and I was overall excited with my new place and the great service from Jessica. I greatly appreciate all of the help that was provided. Thanks again Jessica :)

My bf and I are new to the area, but more than that, we are first-time apartment hunters. There were so many places before this one that happily took the application money and then declined us, even though they knew we didn't have credit (at the time) and would need a co-signer. So when we first came to Briarwood, we were on edge about whether or not they would accept us, and how fast the process would happen. The ladies in the office are constantly busy, so calling them on the phone was a bit of a challenge. Other than that, we got accepted very quickly. If you are in a similar situation, finding a complex that is very transparent and won't get mad at you for asking all the questions you need to find a good fit is so important, and these people did just that. Regardless of how their phone service is, the fact that we got to move out of our old place and into this complex quickly shows that they were receiving all my messages, and working on things behind the scenes. As for the apartment itself, it was as clean as Jessica told us it was. I didn't see any problems with mold or roaches. The dining room is in the kitchen, but that just makes it more spacious and opens up the apartment as a whole. The neighbors are very respectful. they have an overall understanding that this is a pretty chill area, so it's very quiet. All in all, the experience I had getting an apartment here was very positive, and the apartment is beautiful.

When searching for my first apartment by myself I was lost in what I was looking for exactly. I called Briarwood and spoke to Jessica and when I say she helped me so much I mean it! She guided me through the process and answered any/all the questions I had! She set me up with I believe the best apartment that would fit my needs. Jessica and other Briarwood staff made this transition process so easy for me and I look forward to staying at Briarwood.

I have been searching for apartments in the area for a while now and Briarwood is the first one that even gave me a chance. The girls in the office are amazing, they helped me find different ways to go about my application process instead of telling me no out right. Ms. Shinetta was amazing, she was very thorough when giving me a tour. Ms. Jessica was very patient and really helped me out with my application. I am very thankful for the whole team there!!
