This store is just fine for a quick drop in to grab whatever you need. Not in the nicest neighborhood, but it isn't bad either. The one up on Ramsey St. by King's Grant is nicer if you're gonna spend all day shopping in there for a month's worth of groceries.

This is my local grocery store and I dislike going there. My cashier today didn’t separate my cold items like they are supposed to. Cashier wasn’t friendly. This has been the typical experience when I shop there.Most of the employees act like they don’t want to be there. Shelves are stocked well. Plenty of produce.Store is clean. Shopping there is not a pleasant experience for me,however it’s a mile from my home so it’s convenient. I have always shopped at Food Lion and had good experiences at other locations. I am loyal customer. This location needs management help. There is another grocery store in the area. I am checking them out on my next grocery trip.

I went in here to grab a few things we needed while camping. Manager on duty that Saturday afternoon went above and beyond in welcoming us and helping us out. We don't live in NC, but oh man I wish we the grocery stores I went to had managers like that. Just awesome.
