Didn’t receive half my order back in July. Contacted the day of the shipment, and it’s now November. They stopped responding to emails when I checked in for an update, and their customer service inbox in full. I tried calling at least 5 times during their business hours and no one picks up. I’m out $50. I will never buy from them again, nor recommend them to anyone.

The worst boutique I have ever shopped with. Tried to return items and they only gave me credit for 2/3 items I sent back. You can never get anyone to email you back and their voicemail box is full. Will never shop here again.

Store doesn’t offer refunds back to original payment method. Only store credit although their website says free refunds.

Ordered a hat from them and it was cheaply made, way overpriced for the material. They also packaged it awfully so it arrived smashed and damaged. Will not purchase from them again.

never again! i have called, emailed, and submitted request through their "new" returns section to no response on being able to return the dress that I received! When you try to call customer service the mailbox is full and cannot leave a message. It should not take days in order to get information/label to return an item. Buyers beware of how horrible their customer service is and you are better off shopping elsewhere.

I ordered about 2 months ago and never received my order. I then emailed southern Alternative in which they sent an email back saying it was presumed “lost”. I emailed and called them again numerous times about getting my money back and have not yet gotten a response. I am VERY disappointed with this company.

So utterly frustrated. I have ordered many times from this site with no issues. A few weeks ago I ordered a total of six items. When my packaged arrived it was open. I didn’t notice till a few days later I didn’t received one of my items I have now been back and forth through email trying to have them assist me and they keep asking me to ask my delivery man if he knows anything. I work full time and also raise a child on my own I don’t have time for this foolishness. I just need someone to assist me. Apparently that isn’t a option here.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! I have been a customer for YEARS. Didn’t have any problems up until the last 6 months. My last two orders were purchased months before special events I had planned and both items didn’t show up in time. First order was a month late and this current item STILL hasn’t arrived and it’s been 2 1/2 months. On their website it states “all orders ship within 24 hours” that’s a lie. I paid for shipping (5-7 business days) and it’s taken months. I called customer service several times, no answer and no way to leave a message because it’s full. I emailed customer service 2 weeks after my order hadn’t arrived, no answer until a week ago. I wasn’t offered any compensation and was given no answers. The customer service is horrible, and they will no longer be receiving my business.

This boutique is hands down the worst one I’ve EVER shopped at. Their customer service is horrible, the quality of the clothes are horrendous, and overall just a bad business. Do not waste your money on this boutique. They are money driven and do not care if the customer is satisfied with their order. I received a pair of jeans that were damaged and had holes in them in 3 different places! I asked for help from them because they sent a defective product and they told me they were unable to help me because it was past their “3 day return policy”. Seriously 3 days? Not to mention I waited 2-3 weeks for the items, but they only give their customers a 3 day return?! Absolutely outrageous. Don’t waste your time or money on this boutique, you’re paying a ridiculous price for items and are low quality.

I first emailed them on 6/12/19 because an item i received completely fell apart. WHILE I WAS WEARING IT. Since then, all I've gotten back are a bunch of emails giving me the run-around with stupid emojis and promises to get back to me the following day. I've had to consistently follow up because no one EVER got back to me. Every time I followed up, it was just "so sorry for the delay. i'm so sad this is happening. I have not forgotten about you. have a great day." It's now 7/2/19. Just a whole bunch of lies about getting back to me once the "return team" gets back to her. It's all lies. This has been a terrible experience. I understand when a company has a no refund policy, but I wouldn't expect that to apply to items that are defective. Do yourself a favor - STAY AWAY from Southern Alternative. Get your stuff from VICI and Sabo Skirt. I've only had amazing experiences with their products and customer service.
