This post office just does what they want and they don't offer customer service. 1. I have scheduled mail holds that they do not adhere to the dates - they start the hold early and end late. 2. I am often missing packages that are marked delivered and are never delivered. 3. You cannot get a hold of anyone for help. 4. Lastly, my mail carrier does not deliver mail daily. I know this because I receive email notifications with pictures of my mail that is supposed to be delivered and I will often receive no mail and then the items days later.

The USPS location at 400 Gilead Rd., Huntersville, NC is horrible and the staff are very rude, lazy and incompetent of sorting mail and placing in the correct PO box. I continue to get someone's important mail (checks, mail from hospital, insurance, etc.) and have to stand in land EVERY WEEK and repeatedly ask them to put my last name on my PO Box and stop giving me the same person's mail for the last 3 consecutive months. The rude staff thinks its a joke to have important mail go to the wrong place. My utility bill went to the incorrect box and I ended up paying a day late. I will be looking for a better USPS location, if one exist.

On the 17th of July I went into the post office to get a key to my mail box's. They said they would have to put a new lock in and will call when it's done. Today is Aug 1st I went to get my mail and after speaking to the clerk he said let me go get your Mail i stood there for 25mins. You charge me 40.00 on the 17th to change the lock which you have not done then I have to go in and deal with people that have absolutely no customer service. Extremely very very poor service. Now I guess I will have to go back again and spend half a day there. I will not be patience when I go in there again and will let the overpaid associates know about it!

Typically I go to the other branches due to the 2star rating. Everything that is said, is true. Today, however, Mike was everything a customer could ask for. Professional, courteous and helpful.

Was told my package got intercepted and rerouted to manassass VA, and package went missing never went out for delivery or showed movement again.

One of your drivers in a white mini van almost ran me off the road. Proceeded to honk at me like I did something wrong, as he’s merging almost into my car in the middle of a intersection. The plate number is TFE-1865. This was just dangerous driving to the point he could really hurt someone.

Alicia at the Huntersville Post Office went above and the call of duty to help me today. Every time I'm in the PO I see her assisting her peers and customers alike. She is a credit to the Post Office, and her community. Thanks Alicia!

The customer service is absolutely terrible. My package is being held there “at customers request” but I never requested that. Now I’m 3 days postpartum, waiting on something for my baby to come and no one is helping me over the phone. They picked my call up and hung up on me twice before I could barely get a word out.

I’ve lived in several zip codes in the Charlotte area, and my experience with the Huntersville post office has by far been the worst. When we first moved here, we had a reliable mail carrier, a woman whose name I don’t know. But shortly after, we received a new mail carrier - a gentleman - I have had nothing but issues ever since. I received a postcard that indicated that I had a document sent registered mail that required a signature, but no one was home to sign and that a re-attempt will be made. I thought that was strange since I work from home and had been home all day to sign that document had the doorbell rang, so I made a point to listen out for the next attempt and again found another postcard in my mailbox the next day that said that no one was home to sign for the document. The next time the mail carrier came I literally looked out the window and saw him about to put the postcard in the mailbox again when he had not even come to the door to ring the doorbell! So I ran to the door, opened it and waived for him to bring it to me which he did. Busted!! But who does that? How do you say that you attempted to do something that you didn’t do? And that’s just one example. He never delivers the mail consistently at the same time, you don’t know whether to expect it in the morning or in the late afternoon, and most recently I was expecting a delivery from Amazon via USPS, and not once but twice did I get a notification that says that my delivery could not be made because my driveway was not accessible. This was during our first snowfall of the year and our driveway had not only been shoveled but also salted. So it was clearly accessible, and he obviously did not even attempt to arrive at our home or get out of the truck. I tried to call Customer Service but of course they were closed because - go figure - it was a holiday. Unbelievable. Now I’m going to call Amazon to see what they can do. I’ve never seen a more lazy mail carrier in my life.

If I could give zero I would. Delivered my package to the wrong address gave me the run around for 2 weeks and still did not retrieve my package. Gave me a story about how they had the carrier write a note to get my package back from where he had delivered . I spoke with carrier and he had not been notified about any of this. They just lied to my face to get me out of there. It sad that the USPS has no one to answer to because it’s the government and with each passing day we the people have less input. What happens if they are rude or don’t do their job, the answer is nothing. They also know this and the result is poor service and, it must be said they are not all bad just this experience
