Food is almost always fine to bad. Either the chicken is under cooked or the fries are undercooked and under seasoned. They forget sauces all the time, give you a small drink when you order a large. Definitely skip this place if you can help it.

I wish I could give 0 stars... Very poor and slow service. I waited over 30 mins for my order just for the chicken to be uncooked, the fries weren't seasoned, got the wrong sauce and the toast wasn't even cut. After complaining I had to wait 1.5 hours for them to cook another batch of chicken. 2 hours total, so much for "fast food" and the staff wasn't in any rush to fix our order and just didn't seem to care. I used to love eating here but things have really gone downhill. I'll highly recommend you go somewhere else to get your food.

Incredible chicken .... service a bit slow but who isn't these days? ... I'm learning to take a deep breath and enjoy the wait in these moments these days ✨️ the ranch was the best I've had in a long time😆 but the food was also very fresh! And delicious 😋 😃 😋

We waited a little bit, but boy was it worth it! The chicken is so good! I recommend going in to pick up your order instead of going through the drive-thru. It was faster for us to go in then it would have been to wait in the drive-thru lane.

While I’ve never worked in food service, I imagine it isn’t always pleasant dealing with demanding customers. As a result I always smile, am courteous and polite when interacting with them - I won’t ever be one of “those” customers. Today was no different on my side of the counter. 2 tables occupied when we went in. 1 person ordering in front of us. The young lady who took our order did not acknowledge my greeting, didn’t smile, didn’t engage at all. I go to fix my drink - no ice. I walk up to the counter to ask for some ice from another young lady with fake lashes almost as long as her fake nails. I explained there was no ice in the machine I’m sure I was a terrible inconvenience - at least that was the vibe. Drink machine was almost completely out (maybe 5 choices and Powerade) and what was there did not taste well at all. No iced tea. Sat down, ate and was entertained by the party going on in the kitchen (at least that was what sounded like). Went to restroom before leaving - no paper towels. I know it’s hard to find good help, it may be hard to get supplies, but as long as you let your employees act that way will be as long as it will take me to return.

45 minute wait for two sandwiches, though they were good. 45 min wait not even appropriate for sit down restaurant. Update, manager called to offer two free meals for myself and my wife. So we each ordered a zalad. The bacon was missing from my wifes cobb zalad.

My husband and I stopped by Zaxby’s going home from Hamlet and it was the worst experience, we wait at the drive thru approximately 30 minutes to get our food and when we get to the window, 3 of the employees were on their cell phones, so we wonder, does this establishment even have a manager…..

In town for a family visit and decided to try this place. I knew the wait would be long because it was a Friday afternoon when we arrived in town. So, I ordered ahead online. Got there for the pick up and watched the staff talk, play, argue, & occasionally work. I worked in all kinds of restaurants during high school & college. So being a young adult, we do some dumb stuff from time to time. But to see what I assumed to be the manager also participate made my blood boil. I almost cancelled my order. But I was determined to give them a chance. Maybe the food would be ok. Nope. It was not even as good as KFC or Bojangles or Popeyes. The best part was the soda machine. Great flavors. I'm sorry to say they failed here. Even though folks in town keep coming back. Maybe I've been gone too long and had better food. Zaxby's, get the staff in order and hopefully the food will follow.

This was my first time going to a Zaxby's . I meant to go to one when I was in the Carolinas last time in 2019 , but I had so much good Country food and Carolina Bbq that I didn't go to one . This time just before I left to go back to Las Vegas , I went to this one October 11 , 2021. I have to say I was really disappointed . We have Raising Cane's in Las Vegas and I thought it would be on par with them , nope . Raising Cane's is soooo much better . The only thing I can say is that Zaxby's has a better selection of items to choose from . Raising Cane's is mostly Chicken Fingers , Texas Toast , Coleslaw , Sweet Tea , and one dipping sauce that is really good . They have a lot of locations and people love them . I parked and went inside even though I was getting mine to go , so I could see how the inside looked . The drive thru lane was a little backed up anyway . After checking out the menu , I decided to get Chicken Fingers and Fries . I was going to try the Cajun Club Chicken Filet Sandwich and asked the cashier if she had tried it and she said no . I figured maybe I would try it next time . I got either the Zax Sauce or Spicy Zax Sauce , but it didn't taste any where as good as Raising Cane's . The floor by the soda machines was wet , I'm talking a puddle ! I got a soda at first , but it tasted like mostly carbonated water , so I poured it out and got sweet tea . I sat for a while and I mean a while till I finally got my order . A couple people who came in after me got there food before me which was not nice . One guy came in from the drive thru while I was waiting and was complaining about something wrong with his order , like maybe they forgot something . He was not happy . I would like to try some of their different sandwiches and other items next time I come back to the Carolinas , but probably a different location like maybe Waynesville near where my sister lives .
