I visited FastMed due to a broken toe. I needed X-rays and didn’t want to wait forever. I made an appointment and was seen within just a few minutes of my arrival. Everyone I encountered during my visit was extremely personable and professional, especially my provider, Hattie. I highly recommend the Lumberton FastMed.

If you luck up and get into a room, most of the Drs and Nursing Staff are great or have been great in the past. But the tricky part is getting to see a Dr. It's advertised No Appt Nessecary...well you 100% need an appt. (Not sure why staff don't remove signs)? It's quick and simple to go online and schedule an appt right, but the next problem is, once you show up for your appt, you might be accepted or you might not. ***(Make sure you plan your accidents and sicknesses accordingly).*** I showed up for my appt, only to be told, "we are only doing drug screens today". (Mind you, i just made the appt for an issue not pertaining to a drug screen).🤦♀️ Opening and closing times vary!! (8am-4pm, 10am-3pm, 8am-6pm, 11:45am--5:45pm). All information on door of facility and website is outdated. Ended up wasting 4 hours, only not to see a Dr. The sad part is, i truly liked this Urgent Care before it went downhill. Hopefully it will be better managed or recieve new management before it ends up another failed business in Lumberton, NC. For people who need better service than a family Dr can provide but not a true emergency basically are left with slim options of recieving healthcare in this area!!

To the owner who ONLY seems to care about the Positive Reviews on here. I have Not seen any of the Bad Reviews, have responses, explanations or Apologies from the Owner. If you are not going to provide service to Walk-ins, then you need to remove all the wrap that covers your entire windows that says WALK-INS. Waited at the front door since 7:30am, and all employees walked by us without a courtesy to say, do you have an appointment. Every last one of yall knew we were walkins, otherwise we wouldnt be in line at 7:30am if you didnt start taking appointments until 8:30am. Common sense says, PUT A DAGONE SIGN ON THE DOOR THAT SAYS TIME SLOT APPOINTMENTS ONLY, NO WALKINS. I MEAN REALLY, you know i aint the first one to flip out about that. Thats a simple Fix, put a sign on the door to make everybodys life easier!

Don’t waste your time. This place is terrible. They should be sanctioned for false advertising. They do not accept walk-ins as advertised. And they do not do rapid testing as advertised. As for customer service, either this is a terrible place to work or their staff is part of the problem. Bottom line: Go elsewhere!!! Friendly FYI: There are two other urgent care clinics in town that are much better - Carolina Acute Care & Wellness and Quickmed. I would even go to RHSS over this place. Try one of those places instead.

Extremely rude front desk person. We walked in for a antigen-test and was told that they do not accept walk-ins (although it is plastered all over the windows) and an appointmentis necessary (although also on the door, that its not necessary). She offered no assistance in getting an appointment scheduled and just ignored us. Compassionate care is NOT to be found at this facility.

Extremely rude front desk person. I walked in for a presumed broken finger and was told that they do not accept walk-ins (although it says so on the phone when I called, and it is plastered all over the windows). She offered no assistance in getting an appointment scheduled and just ignored me. Compassionate care is NOT to be found at this facility.

It was really easy to make appointment online. There was no wait time when i arrived and everyone was friendly. The dr was very nice and helpful. He took the time to explained my conditions with me as well as my treatment options.

Just as an FYI - you do need an appointment to be seen here!! Although they advertised Walk-Ins on the web and on the side of the building , that apparently is not their policy. Their urgent care is a 1-2 business days type of care… I understand staffing issues - but when there is only one person in the waiting room and no one else pulls up or goes in during the 30 minutes I sat in the parking lot finding an urgent care that actually will see me today - it’s a bit disappointing.

Desk Staff were very courteous. Nurse and Attending Physician were quite knowledgeable and worked hard to help me. Very compassionate to my situation. Thanks

I went here the other day with bad lower back/abdominal pain and frequent urination. They diagnosed me with a UTI and gave me an antibiotic. Well, I just got worse from there...cold chills, all over pain, headache, 103 degree fever. I made another appointment at FastMed for yesterday and when I got there the doors were locked. I go online and it says they are closed for the day 🤬. I end up having to get my mom to get off work early and carry me to McLeod Regional ER in Dillon where I find out I had a really bad kidney infection. Well, I get a call from FastMed this morning and they tell me that my urine sample came back clean and I can stop the antibiotics 😳. I gave them 3 stars because it's probably more the lab than FastMed but they should do better on the lab they use.
