Once I arrived there I was next in line everything was no problem at all not like going to Walgreens where you have to wait for over hours to receive your medication too fined out that they don't have your medications

The bakery service went above and beyond today. When presented with the impossible task of writing a name with a heart around it on a Chantilly cake (which is a small cake with no where to write a message), the cake decorator wrote the name with three small hearts on the plate. The decorator did a beautiful job and I was delighted with the results. I had placed the order online and had not realized what a challenge I presented with my request. Many thanks for a job well done.

The store is always clean and organized and employees friendly and professional. They have a wide variety of fresh produce including jackfruit. The personal care products are great as well as superior brands in vitamins and herbs including Gaia and others. Always a great shopping experience.

1st time in. Prices comparable to Harris Teeter but nicely laid out. Loved the produce section. Common sense layout to the rest. (Other area stores can be all over the place) And plenty of items I haven't seen else where. Staff were super friendly, and I like the professional looking attire. Will definitely be coming back. This store is amazing! The deli and bakery are absolutely superb. Harris Teeter has similar amenities, but H Teeter is just too much of a store. I'd chose Publix and and every day above all other grocery stores open in New Bern.

For employee appreciation we ordered wraps, cookies and a sheet cake. Everything was presented and packaged beautifully. Not only was the food delicious, the cost was very reasonable. The staff I encountered were all very helpful and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the spread. I would recommend Publix for any catering need.

You gotta be a sharp shopper to shop here there are deals to be had but like I said you gotta be a savvy shopper as this is no Walmart or Aldi's as a majority of their items although thought to be premium by them and you will pay for it. Try somewhere else unless you absolutely need/want it. And yes I still shop there just bought 2 (two) Rib roasts at $6.99 a pound which one I made into 7 one inch thick RIBEYE Steaks and had the Ribs as a bonus. Ribeye steaks sell for about $12. To $14 dollars a pound so you do the math. Like I said you HAVE TO BE A SMART SHOPPER. If you have a lot of money you won't have it for long. If everyone were to shop smart like that they wouldn't have a choice but to lower all their prices instead of throwing the unsold away or donating it to the food bank for a write off.

Just spent 30 minutes at JUST customer service because they refused to listen to me when I told them how to use the MasterCard gift card. The balance needs to be typed in manually on their side. You can’t just swipe it. Two different helpers and they made me call customer service of the MasterCard. Customer service rep told them to do exactly what I was saying and they still wouldn’t do it 3-4 more times they had me repeating swiping the card. This was the opposite experience of every other time I’m in a Publix. I felt completely disregarded and unheard. After it all Jalyn still wouldn’t say sorry for the time or admit how it worked when she finally tried what I was saying. Pic shows how many times they made me try the same way with that card.

Publix is a pretty great grocery store. The prices are about average compared to other grocery stores, but their sale items are the best deal around. Personally, its not about the prices. The customer service is out of this world. The employees are friendly and helpful. And even if you visit is less than stellar, there are managers who really want you to go home feeling like your shopping trip was well spent at Publix. True to their tagline: "Shopping is a Pleasure."
