Went out fishing several times with Chris this week and had a blast! He is so talented in spotting where the fish are and making sure we caught some. Tonight, we caught 7 reds and a flounder. It was so much fun that I didn’t want it to end. Grateful for his expertise and kindness!

We did the three island tour where we looked for shells, sand dollars and sharks teeth. It was wonderful to get out on the water and see this beautiful area. We found some beautiful treasures to help us remember our trip. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful and was great with our teens helping them to find lots of shark teeth. We even saw several pods of dolphins. We would highly recommend this tour and we will be back to do some of the other tours that Pogies offers when we come back again.

I wish I could leave more than a tip, and Five star review! This place is amazing! The workers were so kind. They helped us in and out of the kayak (we had little kiddos with us), told us where to go to find shark teeth, and shells, and were just overall the most friendly people we have met. The most wonderful experience! Can’t wait to go back.

We frequently visit the Crystal Coast but this was the first time we have visited Pogies. We took a short boat trip to Shark Tooth Island, where we were able to find many teeth. When the tide came up, and we lost the beach, David came and picked us up and took us to another amazing beach we had all to ourselves. My young children had fun looking for teeth, shells, and swimming. They also really enjoyed the short boat trips after initial reservations. David was so friendly and helpful. This will be something we do every year on our trips now.

This place has a 4.9+ for a reason. We selected this small business, not only for their reviews, not just for their competitive prices, but also because they made us feel like we were part of the bunch. Don't be fooled by their youth, they certainly know what they're doing. They made us feel competent and confident in our solo adventure, and made sure we knew how to get where we wanted to go. They even personally helped me complete my rig fishing pole) so I could do a little catch and release on the journey, too (and gave me some pointers, which led to several successful catches). They were friendly and personable uoon sale, on cast off, upon return, and at settling up. We'll most certainly use them again, and we'll send others their way whenever we can! Keep up the great work you guys!!

Wonderful time!!! Nice and helpful staff. Went out and explored on single kayaks. Very comfortable and adjustable seats. Good prices and 15% military discount. Highly recommend!

A must visit! Came down to stay at Atlantic Beach and went on an inshore excursion to celebrate a friends birthday. We had the best afternoon with Captain Ethan! He’s extremely knowledgeable about the waterways and the sea life. Will absolutely be returning again this summer! Book the excursion with this local company, you won’t be disappointed!

Every single time I have been down here kayaking the folks running the shop have been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Pricing is very reasonable, and man do they have some great views! I make the trip down to visit as often as I am able, and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend! Oh, and don’t let me forget to mention that not only is it kayaking and fishing gear, they also have a crystal shop inside as well.

What a wonderful kayaking experience i had with this place! We paddled into the sunrise, saw dolphins, and visited Jones Island. Prices are very affordable, and is a good solution to get away from other tourists. If you're not an experienced kayaker, no worries. They have a thing to send out on that makes getting in and out very easy. We battled the current and the wind for a long time before we finally made it back, exhausted, but these nice people are willing to help tow you in if necessary. I highly recommend!

My husband and son had such an amazing time on the inshore boat trip. They caught a ton of fish fry fish and brought up several fun species to get a look at. Owner is kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We will definitely book another charter and look forward to heading back to Emerald Isle. We might even think about a summer camp next summer!
