The customer service here is awesome! We were looking all over Duck for a LSV and this place was able to squeeze us in! The LSV ran great and it made our vacation so much more enjoyable! Thank you and we hope to see you guys next year!

All of the employees I dealt with were very friendly, including those who took my LSV reservations over the phone, those who worked behind the desk at pickup, and those who took us outside for explanation of use. I rented a 6 person LSV in May, and a 4 person (that's all they had left) in July of this summer. They were fun for cruising the side streets and into Duck in the evenings for shopping. Prices were comparable to the other companies I checked with, and I liked using a company that was right in Duck. 5 stars!!!

OAR made our beach experience so much better! Mike communicated with me to let us know when our set up was ready every day. Having the cooler service was awesome and always had fresh ice without having to lug it down on our own. He went above and beyond! This is a service I will use again and again. Thanks Ocean Atlantic!

We rented a 6 person cart for our family’s vacation this past week. A couple days in we had some issues where the cart wasn’t working properly. After speaking with the manager, Trevor, he quickly and appropriately drove out and picked up our troubled cart, delivered a replacement cart, offered a refund, and did so all within 2 hours of our initial complaint. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but he went above and beyond to ensure we would be happy and ensure our vacation wouldn’t be interrupted. Wonderful business and person to trust with your vacay needs,THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Always excellent quality and fast service data great price!! They have served us for decades and they've always been the best. The couple times we had to go with another company, it was not as good as these guys! Good selection of rental equipment and it's always been a great experience! The one time we had an issue, they fixed it immediately.

*Update* I'll be raising this another star thanks to General Manager Chris. He's called me a couple times to apologize and wanting to make it right. Although I've been too busy to call back, I appreciate him reaching out. That is a sign of good customer service. Concept is great, but what we got for the price left something to be desired. Eric was who set up and took down our equipment. His text the first day said that he would have the equipment set up by 9am every morning. That happened one time the entire week. On the second evening we went out to walk the beach at 8PM and our equipment was still out there. The water had surrounded the chairs and umbrellas, and the cooler was in the surf. We ran out and got it and moved all the equipment back to the dunes. I then texted him and let him know where he could find the equipment. He never thanked me, just stated that he'd be by "soon". As we walked back down the beach we saw him and another person come and get it. This was at 9pm! When we came back up the steps to go down the walkway, our equipment was on a wooden bench. Could have been stolen by anyone over night. I took photos so I wouldn't be held responsible if something happened. One day we were given just one bag of ice for our cooler that we paid for, while all other days were 2 bags. I paid quite a bit for this service, plus a large tip was added. I expected more, and may look elsewhere going forward.

I know a business in a tourist town is supposed to be about skinning tourists, not helping them; but for goodness sake you damned restroom can handle s four year old. Will rent my kayak elsewhere.

Rented a beach cart, which might be the least-complicated thing you can rent from them, but it was delivered and picked up from our rental house with zero issues or complications. My tip is not to wait until you get down there before you look into rentals. Set it up before you leave home.

I walked into the store at 7:50 wanting to rent bikes for the week. The guy at the register rung us up knowing we wouldn't have ID's (we didn't think we needed one to rent bikes), so we waited for a parent. We told the guy that we be right back with a guardian and we waited outside until they came. It was now 8:02 when our guardian arrived so we walked into the unlocked door and asked him for 4 bikes to rent for the week. He replied, "no we are closed" as he was typing on his computer. The next morning we came to rent the bikes and when we went for a ride one of the chains popped off and we had to get a new one. We were very disappointed with our experience with this rental shop.
