Such an amazing little shop, they help you with their knowledge and very fun place. They offer lessons and also give discounts if you purchase a board or craft. Definitely going back.

I’m a pilot and was only in town for a day. Waves looked pretty good so I rented a car and started calling around to find a wetsuit and surfboard rental. Most places in the area I found only rent the boards and not suites. The water temp was 50 degrees so there was no way I was paddling out with out one. I was debating on buying one, but then I call Aussie Island and Mick answers the phone. They had rentals and suites for very reasonable prices. Mick hooked it up and I was in the water in no time. Had a blast and was stoked when I got back to the shop, Mick had a hot shower for use to get out of the suit and warm up. Good guy with a solid company. I’d support it, and come here time next for sure.

If I could give less than a star, I would. Boneheads! We made a reservation several days in advance. Driving down, we called them again and they claim they didn't know what we were talking about and that they would call my daughter back immediately. Never called. So, we called them and spoke to Jacob who claimed we had a reservation for at least four bikes, and if they can get more, the seven we realized we needed. Problem is, aside from the 4 bikes, this kid never spoke in absolutes...maybe, should, I'm reasonably sure...I finally asked, in front of three other passengers listening in to the call, "do we have a reservation or not?" He said yes. (THEY DO NOT DELIVER, btw...so if you reserve something, you have to pick it up...another hassle.)( So, morning of, I called again and spoke with another half-witted person who said that there is no reservation. Mind you now, we reserved and confirmed with them...even offered a credit card...AND THEY LOST THE RESERVATION!!! Jacob and whoever manned the call Saturday morning (7/18) are boneheads. Fortunately, Wrightsville SUP took my reservation and actually didn't lose it...in fact, they also delivered and picked up. Seven bikes and three paddleboards...Aussie, you lost out not only on a decent sale, but now you earned this negative review.

We rented bikes from here and the guy who helped us out was so great! We enjoyed our ride as well. If you're looking to rent bikes while on the beach we recommend this place!

Love this shop. Right on Wrightsville Beach. They had everything we needed for our vacation. Kids loved the paddleboards. Chris was great to work with. Lots of advice on the beach and where to go.
