My wife and I are seasonal residents in Flat Rock, NC. Yesterday we decided to cruise down to Tryon for our first visit there. We stopped in at Huckleberry’s for light lunch. The outdoor seating was perfect, and our server was absolutely wonderful and provided us with superb service. Our lunch was delightfully delicious 😋!! We shall definitely return and recommend to our NC friends. Thank you 🙏 and kudos to the proprietor/owner who owns, operates, and manages a fabulous restaurant‼️😉

Best fried chicken sandwich I've had! We spent a super nice afternoon dining outside and we were serviced by a great staff!

Don’t go based off any of the menus you see on here, they are all outdated. Couldn’t take photos of the new menu at the time of posting this. That being said, it was…lackluster at best. The old menu sounded and looked much better than their current one. Fewer lunch choices than before and just odd combinations of food pairings. Old menu items like the waffled grilled cheese, Thai chili shrimp tacos, the fried green tomato crab cakes are not on the menu anymore, now it’s farroe salad and a $13 burger where each add on is $1 each. They are trying to be overly fancy without any real reason. Their ketchup is definitely food service grade, nothing fancy considering what they are trying to be or what they are charging. Service was ok at best, save from what we saw from the short male server, he sounded like he knew what he was doing; he told you up front what the daily items were, asked what you’d like to drink, overall more efficient and interested in being there. All that being said, would not recommend considering all of the other food choices around.

The house salad was great and the salmon was good although very salty. The sweet potato fries were extremely greasy and soggy, not crispy at all. We ordered for takeout . ( I realize fries aren’t as good like that but I always get takeout and never had fries like that) The price is a bit high for the amount of fish we got. ($26) I enjoyed it except for the fries. They have a good menu selection and gluten free options which I love.

We travel over an hour to get here and we did enjoyed our visit. The food was good and the staff was above the norm, very friendly and kind. Everyone in our group really liked the food except the cold soup. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Started off with the shrimp skewers then the hummus with roasted veggies wrap and ended with the chocolate Kahlua toffee mousse cake. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the wrap and cake were wonderful. I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side and those were also good.

It was great. We sat out in front of the place listening to a guitarist singing old rock and country tunes. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious and the staff attentive. All the food was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. I'll go again.

Love sitting outside with our dog. Wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is good, great drink selection, nice vibe. Always something for the vegetarians as well. Seem to change up their selection, which I like. Our go-to in Tryon!

I loved this place. Super cool atmosphere and unique options. I had the pancake tacos and I also snuck sweet potato fries and regular fries from family plates lol- both were so good. I also tried the coconut and mango gazpacho and it was yum! They had really good coconut shrimp and 3 dollar mimosas which was a heckin' good deal! We brought our baby nephews and loved that there was a buttered noodle option on the kiddo menu. That deserves a 40% tip right there. Definitely check it out if you're going through Tryon. I'm hoping to try a salad when I'm vacationing in the area next time.
