The bagels are 5 star. I have onion and garlic allergies so I couldn't enjoy any of the flavored cream cheeses. The baked goods are delicious. I haven't tried the sandwiches but they look amazing. The lady at the cash register is very nice and helpful.

I highly recommend that the owner come up with some sort of option for vegetarians. $11 is too much to charge for one bagel with a few veggies, a small piece of avocado, and 1/4 pickle on the side. The lady helping us tried to get the owner to lower the price but the owner basically ignored her. Absolutely not recommended for vegetarians.

Well worth the travel. Love the bagels. They are the real deal. Chewy and delicious. Loved the French toast bagel but personally went for the everything. Wanted to give a special shout out to Shelley for the unbelievable service. She even refilled my free water several times. Fun place and cool atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Will be back soon. By the way we forgot our Cranberry bars, will be back soon to redeem. Couldn’t believe we got all the way back to Cedar Mountain and forgot them.

I had a build your own breakfast sandwich with asiago bagel, garlic and herb cream cheese, sausage, and tomato and cucumber. It was amazing! Great quality ingredients!

Best experience in town! Friendly staff and excellent bagel sandwiches. I had ham, egg, swiss sandwich on Asiago bagel, awesome! Eclectic decor, must visit.

The food is great every time I go there. The staff are extra nice, and they always prepare my gluten free orders perfectly! The baked goods are an extra bonus! Thank you Katie for all you do!

I stopped in to grab a sandwich on my way to a vineyard. It was noon on a Saturday and there was a steady stream of customers picking up orders and the phone didn't stop ringing. My expectations at this point were high! I ordered the Tryon roast beef sandwich. It was just ok. At first glance I thought it looked more like a Philly cheese steak, which I think I would have preferred instead (if I could get a do-over). The horsy mayo on my sandwich was weird and looked crumbly; not exactly what I was expecting. The side I got was the pasta salad. It was also ok. One other thing to note is that I noticed a couple of the employees weren't wearing their face masks properly. The woman who helped me had her mask pulled down below her nose and another woman preparing food was wearing a face shield and had it pushed up, not covering her face.

Came here because it says it’s “NY Bagels”. Just before we moved to this small town in NC I went home to NYC and brought back half a dozen bagels from Brooklyn Bagels. They didn’t last long and I was craving for more and found Katie D. Well it’s not Brooklyn Bagels by any stretch but it’s probably the closest you can get in 30 miles radius. I had the Asiago bagel with scallion spread and the spread was legit! Hubby had the Cuban sandwich because we just watched the movie Chef with Jon Favreau the night before, highly recommend if you love a food truck story, and the sandwich was delicious except it’s on a regular toast instead of Cuban bread or baguette. We will be here for another 3 or 4 months and I’ll sure I’ll come back to try their other sandwiches!
