This place is horrible. I brought my truck there it had a very small torque converter shutter and now my truck is ruined the transmission is 10x worse than it’s ever been and they keep saying it’s fine it’s new. It slips out gear then doesn’t have gears shakes terribly I spent almost 5grand here do not waste your time or money here this place is a joke Service: Transmission

I'm from Fergus Falls, MN and brought my daughters car to them from Detroit Lakes, MN based on the reviews and the professional conversation I had with Darren and Jeff the shop manager and owner. They were great to deal with. Kept me informed and were very professional throughout the repair. Transmissions are tough and difficult to find good mechanics to work on them. They did quality work at more than a fair price. There are many areas between Fergus and DL to have repairs done but were more expensive and had no ratings. Bottom line is her car is running better than ever and they also have a 3 year warranty!!! IF you need transmission work, this is the number one place to consider. They are GREAT!!. Six Star Review. I would give a bonus star to this review for going above and beyond if I could. My transmission went out as I was passing through Fargo on vacation. I was nervous about finding someone I could trust as I had zero connections in Fargo. You can trust these guys! They did everything in their power to get me on the road ASAP. They even called my hotel management to help with a late check out for me and my family. With my experience I don't know why you would want to go anywhere else. Thank you!

I've used North Country for several years to rebuild transmissions for my customers. I've never had a single one fail, leak, or even hiccup in any way. My customers depend on me to make good decisions about who I choose to repair their transmissions so, in turn, I only use someone I truly trust to do the repairs because if they mess up then it makes me look bad too...and I never want that to happen. All the updated parts are installed during the repairs and if there are any special installation or cooler flushing issues they let me know so there aren't any problems later on. Good people that do good work.
