Excellent customer service!!! At Famous Footwear in Aurora I purchased $80 Asics running shoes for my daughter on August 3, 2022 for her to wear for cross country practices & meets. She doesn’t wear them to school or for play, just cross country. She came home today with these holes in the shoes. I called Asics, their policy is to fill out the online warranty form, wait 3-5 business days for a possible approval & then receive an online credit to purchase another pair to be delivered in another 3-5 business days. She has daily practice & 2 meets this week and it didn’t seem she could go that long in these shoes. I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager Chris. He explained that store policy doesn’t allow returns or exchanges of shoes that have been worn, but if I couldn’t get anywhere with Asics, to bring them into the store and he would see what he could do. I did call Asics back with the same results. I brought the shoes into the store and Chris couldn’t have been more understanding or helpful. He agreed that 5week old shoes shouldn’t be showing that kind of wear & tear and fully refunded my purchase, even applied a coupon for me to purchase another pair for her. As assistant manager he has the discretion to make exceptions to policy when warranted. Thank you to Chris for helping us out and to Famous Footwear for allowing their managers to make real time decisions to accommodate their customers. Thank you!

I worked retail, I understand customers can be jerks,and some complaints can be utterly ridiculous and unfounded. However- I witnessed an Absolutely disgusting interaction yesterday by an associate there named Miriam. This associate was actually bullying a customer at the counter, with a child/ teenager that is also working there. Miriam accused this poor woman, her customer, of identity fraud when she was looking up- her acct, had her rewards card and her drivers license WHICH WAS IN HER HANDS. Miriam was being loud and ridiculous while this woman poor woman just stood there. The entire store didnt need to know that she was unjustly accusing the customer of identity fraud. The associate Miriam and her teenage cohort laughed at and ridiculed this poor woman to the point the poor woman their customer, snatched back her Ids AND RAN OUT CRYING. There was no reason for this associate to do that to her, there was no outward reason to suspect her of anything. She was attempting to buy 1 pair of children's shoes and I believe pack of socks. I felt so bad standing there watching this woman show her Ids proving it was her only to be audibly laughed at by these horrible women. I can/did get shoes elsewhere, and even if it cost more, it's worth it to not be treated in such a horrible way.

UPDATE STORE HOURS!!! Hours posted online AND when you call the store both say 8pm. Got there a few minutes after 7 (wed) to pick up my order and they were closed. I love this store, but I drove 25 minutes to pick up only to have to go back tomorrow. Frustrating!

Both my daughters got matching cute Niki shoes. My son was able to get a pair of adidas like me lol. Everyone liked there new kicks. Staff was friendly and good selection for everyone.

This store is located in a OUTLET Mall, it's safe to expect discounted pricing. Found the prices are the same as stores in a traditional strip mall. Not impressed. Staff was too busy stocking and chatting to help. Will not return.

They had a great sale and I now have way more socks than I ever thought I could need but hey I'm happy. Our salesperson was friendly and honest when I inquired about shoes.

Bought my daughter shoes and the guy there left the sensor on. Didn't know until I drove home 40 mins away. The cashier had no respect when I drove back to return them the next day. She need the shoes and couldn't wear them because it had a sensor on it. I was very upset on how I was treated and spent over $100.00 for shoes. I would not buy shoes from here again. When I left the store with the shoes the sensor never went off. Smh need a new staff or this store should close like the rest of the stores in ohio. Nike is next to this store and gets more happy customers. Nike greet you unpon entering and ask you if you need help to tell them. Famous footwear staff where all in the middle walkway having a personal conversations and wasn't around when I needed help. Then when I asked the girl what is a 7 in woman what is it in boys she said 8. Shaking my head. She was wrong and I had to call footlocker to get the correct size in which was a 6 in boys. Some body just close this store please. I'm over it and seen enough lack of respect and enough to see these staff members don't wanna work but is only here to get a pay check.

There security Will stare you down the whole time you’re there what is sad is I have my security state license and I have never followed people around and did this . Then her and a worker down talked about a guy who had came in for a interview earlier I guess . Just rude and disrespectful but the cashier was polite but I won’t b back uncomfortable shopping 🛒

My family and I visited this location yesterday (12/16/18) and we did not enjoy our experience whatsoever! When we came in to shop, one worker (long blonde haired lady) greeted us and directed us to the Women's, Men's, and Children's Shoes. As we continued to shop, two other associates (lady with red curly haired bob cut and a guy with short bleach blonde hair) stood in our presence but did not greet us or ask us for help, they just watched us the entire time. As a person who worked in retail for 6 years, I know this is an indicator that we are perceived as stealing, but instead of the workers following proper protocol like most retail stores...they did no practice any of their 'recovery' statements and service us in any manner. When another family, who happened to be of color like us, came in to shop they were ignored just like us. A man in the family said to the red-haired worker "I see that it is just you two working, so that's why we can't be helped." and he left the store. The red-haired worker said to another customer (who happened to be white, as these were the only customers she was servicing) in a baffled expression "We aren't the only two working so I don't know why he said that." So I said to her, "Because no one is servicing them!" Two workers walked past and THROUGH the family without greeting them or attempting to service them. If these workers cared about ALL of their customers, they would have attempted to service US and the man and his family instead of commenting on it to another customer (VERY unprofessional.) This exhibited BAD business and BAD service. I would NOT recommend anyone who values Diversity, Integrity, and GREAT customer Service to come to this location.
