The issue I have is not with any of the staff. It's with the policies of the bank itself (I have a business bank account with them.) You can only spend $5,000 per debit card so you'll need multiple cards on your account depending on your particular business' finances. Especially if you need to spend over $5,000 daily/close to daily for your business. If you have multiple debit cards for your account, even as the owner of the business/account, you cannot investigate problems with the other cards on your account if those cards do not have your name on them (Which it wont. It can only be on one.). So best of luck if one of your multiple Debit Cards gets frozen because of suspicious activity or something else and the other person(s) are unavailable due to personal/health related reasons to make the call themself (hopefully the bank is open and this doesnt happen on a holiday that your business is open on, by the way.). You will have to wait until they can make that call. Again, not even if you prove/can prove you're the owner of the business/account. To have that debit card limit raised, you are required to call every single 24hr period that you need make a purchase of 5k or more from one Debit Card. This is If you want to remain with only one debit card. Other wise, you'd of course need at least 2. So that you don't have to call every single 24hr period you need to spend 5k or more. Depending on the volume of your business, you just might need to spend $5,000 or more quite often within back to back 24hr periods. Taking time out of your day to be required to call in first. The only permanent solution that was raised to me is to be, essentially, forced to obtain a credit card (Go figure) because they (can) have a higher limit/the bank can/will raise the limit on it permanently. Just for the opportunity to spend $5,000+ on one card in one 24hr period without being required to call in and manually raise your limit first, in 2022.
