Tim and Taylor did such an incredibly thorough job installing my fence. They went above and beyond and honored some requests I had that Tim wasn’t sure would be possible. Amazed how they worked in the pouring rain for hours with no complaints. Even with all the rain and mud, they barely left a footprint of their presence. The training my dog and I received was straight-forward and easy to understand. Tim gave me a thorough walk-through of their mobile app as well. If you’re looking for someone to install an electric fence for your dog, look no further.

We've had one of their fences for just shy of 10 years now. We went with Pet Stop because they were significantly more affordable than their main competitor. At the time I was concerned this might mean a reduction in service, but the price difference made it worth the risk. Boy, I made the right choice! The fence system works perfectly, exactly as designed. It has multiple settings so the dogs don't have to get more correction than they can take. You can also increase or decrease the correction field around the boundary lines. When the fence was installed, Pet Stop staff taught us how to train the dog to it. We walked our pup around the yard boundaries & with every "beep" we would pull him backwards into the yard & say "no!". At that point, he wasn't getting any correction other than the audible alert & us pulling him back. They caution you on a few things that might go wrong during training, so you know to look for them & how to respond. My now 100 lb dog still doesn't get anywhere near the boundary, & responds immediately to just the beep, so he never gets a physical correction. In 10 years we have replaced the collar receiver one time, and the circuit board on the main unit once. A couple of times the lines were cut by landscapers. Each time failures weren't caused by people, they have honored the warranty & fixed things for little or no charge. Recently, our line was cut multiple times by a lawn aeration. Unfortunately there was no saving the original line (which still worked perfectly). They sent a guy out named Jeff who, to my knowledge, was just there to give an estimate & we would have the repair made at a later time. But as soon as I approved the repair, he went to work & installed the new line the same day! I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! Bonus: He was a dog & people person with a pleasant demeanor. I really appreciate the great product & service this company provides & hope to be doing business with them for the next decade, as we plan to add a new dog soon. Jeff said to just call them when it's time to train the new addition & they'll come out & mark the lines so the new guy doesn't have to "use the force" to figure out where the boundaries are.

We installed an electronic pet fence in 2008 on a two-acre property to confine three dogs. The system worked flawlessly until December 2018 when a large power surge damaged the transmitter. Pet Stop of Cincinnati was extremely helpful in discussing the problem and sending a new transmitter board overnight. Installation takes 5-10 minutes. We have high confidence in this system. I even told him we can schedule this for another day. But he got my system up and running. Can’t ask for better service. Can’t imagine too many people would willingly work in this weather.
