Mark is truly and clearly the best mechanic that you will ever work with. He is straightforward, reliable, and honest to the core. He has performed miracles on my car and gone above and beyond every time I have worked with him. He does not overcharge (in the slightest) and wants to only fix what needs to be fixed. When I move away from Cleveland, I will have to have my car shipped to him! Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair, Transmission, Wheel alignment

I would reccomend this place without a second thought! The lead mechanic is so experienced and friendly. He talks to the point and he explains the matters in a clear manner which is a good thing. The first time I visited here, it was winter and I am new to snow covered roads and the lead Mechanic (I believe his name is Mark, please forgive me if I am wrong 🙂) even gave me great tips and a kind of crash course on how to drive on snow and how to get practice on snow! As long as I live in Cleveland Heights, he will be my primary mechanic! Edit: Availing their services for 3 years now and it's getting better!

I was referred to this mechanic by a friend. While the building is unorthodox, the work was great. After getting a second opinion here I saved $1,600. Conrad did not have the part for my vehicle and he had it in stock and installed it the same day. I have found my new mechanic.

Came in with battery issues. Gene was very upfront that it was a simple case of just tightening the bolts on top. He didn't charge me at all. I appreciate this type of honesty. Would recommend him to someone else, as he was also recommended to me for his reliability and honesty. Service: Battery

I didn't really have "service" performed here but I went in with questions about my check engine light on a used pickup I'd bought. One of the fellas that worked there gave me a bit of advice on getting a good e-check. It worked like a charm! Free, accurate advice? Wow. A lot of places might have hooked me up to a diagnostic and said there were 3 things that needed fixed for $$$ each. I can say that I was really impressed with the integrity this business showed. They are very close to my residence, so for sure they will be my go-to service place when the old pickup I bought does need to see the doctor! Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The battery in my vehicle was virtually dead and I was unable to jump it. One of the mechanics literally drove to where I lived (I'm about 2 blocks away so it was convenient), jumped it, took it to the garage and they installed a new battery for me. Truly grateful to this place 🙏🏾

We have been taking our old Honda to Gene's Marathon for 4 years. He is really the best and I feel so lucky to have found Mark as our mechanic. He's thorough and timely. His prices are always fair. Every time we needed something changed, he would give the option of purchasing a new part, or using a recycled part. I've always gone with the cheaper version and we never had any recurrent problems. There was also a small accident that required extensive repairs. Mark wrote down all of the repairs needed and even numbered them in the order of importance so we can decide our priorities. Our car has 200,000+ miles and still running smoothly. Thank you to everyone at Gene's Marathon!
