I was admitted through the ER department. I went to this hospital because they have a urologist on duty and have an excellent reputation in that specialty. Patients need to know that they are seen in the order of urgency not arrival. I waited 30 minutes to meet with the triage nurse and was seen within 10 minutes following our visit. Afterward, I received excellent care. I would not hesitate using this hospital.

This is thee first time I've ever been disappointed here . I've never had a bed experience here until today ... I'm really disappointed .. This was always my go to my fav er in the city because I always felt like the staff listened and cared ... The vibe when the male nurse came in was way off like his energy was wrong like he was already mad or irritated not sure but ... So the next time he came in I asked some questions about the meds and he flipped .. I now feel uncomfortable .. I've never felt that way before in here

I have two very major surgeries this summer. I have to say that I'm so glad I ended up going to the OSU East hospital. It's all the benefits of a massive health care system with a small hospital setting. Definitely made it easier for family and visitors to navigate and (this will be a big plus to anyone who knows main campus) find parking. But what stands out in my mind is the staff. Every single person I encountered from the surgeon to nurses to housekeeping was phenomenal. I felt like they genuinely cared for me and my well-being. I'm much less nervous about having to go through this all one more time knowing the type of people who will be there to help me.

If there was a zero, that would be the grade. Do not let your loved ones go to this select hospital. It's horrible. My husband was placed here from Ohio state James wexner hospital, for vent weening. It was the worst 3 days, I hated leaving him there each night. The nurses acted as if it was an inconvenience to tend to him. Very unprofessional service, not to mention that a nurse was asleep behind the desk when I went to ask to clear my husband's items from his room, after he went into cardiac arrest there, due to them not suctioning his trek . Yes this happened. He was taken to ICU where he's is now unresponsive, all due to this hospital, in three days I seen a decline, the fourth day I was going to have him moved but that fourth day never came because after I faced time with him, he went into cardiac arrest. I am loseing my husband of 28 years marriage due to this awful hospital and staff. It was horrible now I have to live in with this decision for the rest of my life. I'm writing this review to help others, reviews are the only way to make great choices, I use them regularly, I also read other bad reviews, but with anything you will have that, I just wish I would have weighed in on those bad reviews a little heavier. So now my dear husband is suffering and possibly will lose his life. He was doing so well at the James, therapy had him walking, talking sitting up so strong, here nothing. Nothing was done. My worse mistake ever. They didn't even have fitted sheets, the nurse was so loud about it when I asked for one , it was a flat sheet that they used on his bed only. Seriously.. please if u walk away with any doubt after this review , please consider your loved ones health and life

I feel very thankful for the care I received during my recent emergency room visit and subsequent hospital admission. All the physicians, nurses, support staff were phenomenal and I felt like they genuinely cared about my health and well-being. I am so grateful for OSU East.

Pleasant , professional security guard , Dr's , and nurses. It wasn't crowded, and I was seen fairly quickly. It has been remodeled since it was Park Medical Center, and it looks much nicer. Staff answered all of my questions, and I was out in 2 hours. That's the shortest ED visit I've ever had.

Nice facility. Asked for a Social Worker for a patient. The discharge nurse on the 4th Floor "He doesn't need a Social Worker, from what I see here" - Wow...Didn't realize an RN has the qualifications of a LISW? Any hospital must be really lucky to have her. Meanwhile, the patient will continue to be a burden on society and miss opportunities/services that most people don't know how to use?

They are not open 24 hours! Only the ER is open after 8:00. If you walk outside after 8:00 you will be locked out, even if you're staying with your loved one overnight. Nobody tells you that and the website is misleading! I will post more problems after we're released.

I had EGD done last week and I had a great experience. People were very nice and the doctors were very professional. I also had a colonoscopy done few months ago and I had the same experience. I highly recommend this place.

I love my Doctor and all the wonderful staff whom I have had today. Doctor Kristina Slam is so knowledgeable, sweet and personable. I thank God I was referred to her by Dr. Eubanks. I give all the people ten stars.
