I bought a JBL speaker there the other day, took it home to charge it, noticed there was a problem charging, when I connected to it via Bluetooth I noticed right away that only the center speaker was working and the two woofers were not working so I went back to Cashland right away with receipt in hand and they wouldn't return it or anything! No store credit, NOTHING! I AM FURIOUS! They clearly never tested it and sold me a piece of junk! I HIGHLY discourage doing any business with such a disgraceful business! Shame on you Cashland!

Going in the store isn’t a problem. It’s when you try to contact the store via their phone number listed and it just rings and rings. I understand may be short staffed but it would be respectful to at least answer and place caller on hold. I’ve been calling them all day literally over 20 times and I have yet to get anyone to pic up the phone. I guess I’ll have to go on a off day just to figure out my date I need to pay on a pawn.

Love the new TV I purchased but a very smelly customer kept getting in the way of the sales person and I and the sales person would not say anything to her. At first the sales person didn't even want to come around the corner to explain the tv to me and then couldn't explain the smart TV to me but I got it home and YouTube helped me.

All I did was call and ask about a guitar. I was in the store earlier and saw a nice Ibanez guitar and wanted to know the model of it so that I could look it up. So I called at about 6:53 pm. The girl who answered said she could go look but it would be a min because they were with customers already. I told her that’s fine and was put on hold. At 7:09 I heard someone pick up the phone but they didn’t say anything. Just heard the phone move around and then click I was hung up on. I call back instantly and no one answers the phone at that point because they are closed. I had called in plenty of time before close to get a very fast and simple question answered. I was possibly going to buy two or three instruments from this place as well. No way in hell will they get my business now. Very rude treatment. I want to add that I have worked retail and customer service as well. This is just horrible to treat a customer this way.

Went in with my grandson...he buys games there...usually purchase at the Kettering one. Anyways came in today...he found one game....bought it...the lady got the disc and put it in the case....and gave it to us. We got to the car and he opened to look at the disc...it was damaged and won't likely work...there was jagged edges in the middle....really? She didn't notice? Wish i would have taken a pic. Trying to make a 2 dollar profit off my grandson....will continueto go to the Kettering store. This one has been shady with me before...and i only buy....I've never pawned. Two times a charm. Go to the Kettering store....they are helpful and friendly and so far honest!

My experience here was terrible to say the least. I went inside just to cash a personal check from my brother in-law. Simple sounding, yes? No... Lets see.. to start I was required to fill out field after field of questions and phone numbers among other things. Finally after the paper work was finished, they called my home number to make sure it was working, once my mother answered they asked for me, to see if I was home, making my disabled mother go looking for me. Not only that, but afterward they asked me " Why I needed the money " WHAT THE HELL? since when am I asked why I need to cash a check??? Why did they need to know? I simply told the truth, for rent, but I was offended by the fact I was required to answer that question. Not only that but they called my brother in-law and asked him why he gave me the money! Like what the heck?? That is absolutely rude and uncalled for. He of course knew it was for rent but wait it gets better! She gets on the computer and " white pages " my phone number, which is only 1 month old, and she said it wasn't listed as " my name" in the white pages, and she kept my waiting for 10+ additional minutes just to keep looking, then finally she said " we'll cash it but if it does not go through you're responsible " I felt like when I went in there and was asked so many questions and handled in such a manor I was unwelcome and treated like a criminal like I was doing something wrong or not supposed to be cashing a check there. Never again will I come to this place. There are much better ways to cash a check and I had the unfortunate experience in going here ah and I forgot to add their prices are horrible... 36$ to cash a 500$ check

Usually very good to me, but one wrong employee can ruin your whole experience. They refused to cash a Government check which was made out to me, as I am an official representative payee, for my father, who is a Vietnam veteran. They told me he had to physically be with me to cash it, which is impossible since he is in a wheelchair, and I have no vehicle that can accommodate him as a double amputee. Employee was trying to argue with me and I wanted no part of that, so I just left and found Check Into Cash, who cashed my check no problem, although they were about 15 miles north.

Outcome of visit usually comes down to the employee who helps you. Most of the staff is undertrained and or rude with little customer service skills. A year or so ago the store managers name was Tony and most of the employees were top notch and willing to do whatever possible in order to make the customers happy. Tony always remembered my name and it seemed he had a good relationship with a large number of the customers who did business there. Unfortunately business practices have changed for the worst since Tony is no longer at the store. With the exception of being helped by Kev, every visit into the store since has been less than desirable. Whenever possible I try to take my business elsewhere. It really sucks to feel this way considering how much the store previously stood out in my mind for A+ service. As for pawn shops, I highly recommend Mr. Pawn on Linden Ave. Professional, clean atmosphere with knowledgeable employees

I just wanted to write in order to let you know what a joke the service provided at Cashland is, namely the location on Springboro Pike in Dayton, Ohio. Now, I'm not an unreasonable man. I understand that you have to turn a profit on the items you buy, so obviously I won't get as much for a given item as I would selling it privately. However, I was taken aback at the objectively unrealistic offer made on an item I brought in to sell. A guitar, which fetches roughly $450-$550 in the used market, I was offered $75 dollars for. Completely unreasonable, and insulting. If you posted something on Craigslist or eBay for $500, and was offered $75, you would laugh and tell them to get bent. Just wanted to express my awe and incredulity as to how you can manage to operate under such practices.
