I was in need of assistance and they had none. I knew a time when the salvation army was known for helping people. Guess that ain't so anymore.

Salvation army is a church that is about doing the most good. It is very diverse and is very about the community . When i was a child and my mom was traumatized because of life circumstances they helped get her back on her feet and they do that for a wide range of people. They are not perfect people but they do there very best in trying to accomplish there mission and because of the salvation army. I am able to be a success story even in the midst of very difficult circumstances. The picture doesnt always look perfect but we trully never know the difference things make in each individual life. And how the funds work unless we are part of the story from the inside out.

Please research where your money is going before you contribute to the salvation army. I personally don't contribute since a large portion of the revenue goes to anti-LGBT groups. The money is too politically charged for my taste. I would rather support an organization where I know the money is going solely to those in need of assistance
