Go! Calendars & Games

One of the best shopping experiences I've had. Came in looking to buy something for my niece for Easter, the manager/worker was very informative regarding trending toys and games... They even let me know about a current sale and hidden clearance items. I left with this adorable squishy penguin ball, a slingshot monkey, a rubik's cube, some fidget toys, and an axelotal plush. My niece is going to be so happy when she sees her Easter basket. ~Forest

Soak-N-Suds Car Wash

This is the type of self service car wash we need back in Massachusetts. Very clean, all equipment worked, even warm water for scurbbin the bug juice off my ride. The only suggestion that would put this place for me anyway would to be to have a trash barrel in the wash area. Not really an issue as you can just walk over to the vacuum area an throw your trash there, I'm just lazy...lol 😆 Great place to stop, I'm sure I'll be back before I go back home. 👍 ~Harry

Goodwill

It's A clean store but People have worked for goodwill for pretty much free and then the government gave them A little food stamps to feed there kids .it's A program they made to make people work for there food stamps but the work hrs don't match what you actually receive so it's actually modern day slavery.I don't drive and use to walk to Goodwill and work full time for A little food stamps. The lady named Robin treated the people that work for welphare bad .The other lady there end up getting breast cancer named Diane and she died .Robin would yell if you accidentally put hanger on backwards she referred to us as retards if we made A mistake .she didn't want us to talk to each other and pretty much said to shut up. she once did something with my paperwork so I wouldn't get credit for my hrs .I had to get the other manager to fax a letter to job family service to show I did work that month.Robin said at another location goodwill also arrest someone for put a penny in there pocket when they found change in donated clothing .I thought that was ridiculous .She warned us not to take any change or they would come and arrest us even if it was A penny.Any money found in donated items belong to Goodwill and was given to Robin . I personally rather donate to the Bethany Center than Goodwill but I have donated to both in the past.its better to sell stuff on marketplace or give to Bethany center than give stuff to Goodwill because they just sell your used clothes for 5.99 and that's not really cheap for something that is used and many times worn out . Goodwill should lower there price and pay there volunteer workers something if there going to sell used clothes over priced .people deserve to be paid for all there work not just some of it.I was glad when I found A real job and was able to leave Goodwill.yes some other jobs treat employee like dirt also but at least they pay you . Goodwill has you work for free and then you get a little food stamps from the government .Goodwill only pays there cashier's and manager .the rest are just work for A small amount of food stamps and Goodwill doesn't pay A dime to these workers. Its better to shop at garage sell or market place on facebook.you will get A better deal .if you need clothes call Bethany center they use to have A clothing bank where everything is free .it was on certain days .I'm not sure they still have it or not?you can visit them and find out .there information is posted on the door in the back .I believe Goodwill helps themselves more than anyone else .To take donated clothes and sell them 5.99 is not cheap at all for something used .not to mention the Goodwill don't wash clothes so if someone had bedbugs or body lice or monkey pox you may catch it .you better wash anything used because it may look clean and you wear it only to get A rash . salvation army and Bethany Center are the best place to donate and ask for help . Goodwill is way overpriced for used stuff.unless it's A name brand or looks new 5.99 is to much for something that was donated. ~linda

The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

Very overpriced. Last week they had a Nintendo Wii with 10 junk filler / trivia / sports games for $299.99 (would retail around $100), this week an Elite Screen 12' Automatic Projector Screen for $799.99!!! Retail on a NEW screen from this brand is $749 on Amazon, a new off brand screen of the same size is $129. If you want things other than clothes don't even bother with this place. ~Cody
