Very overpriced. Last week they had a Nintendo Wii with 10 junk filler / trivia / sports games for $299.99 (would retail around $100), this week an Elite Screen 12' Automatic Projector Screen for $799.99!!! Retail on a NEW screen from this brand is $749 on Amazon, a new off brand screen of the same size is $129. If you want things other than clothes don't even bother with this place.

Friendly staff and great prices. Donation door is closed certain days of the week and a little earlier than the store does, so call first to make sure they are taking donations!

Not sure who's running the place but the lady w red hair was snippy and rude. Will find other places to shop.

Love, the United States of America flag when you open the door to let yourself in. I respect every time stop, stand and say the Pledge of Allegiance.....

This is my go-to thrift store in the area. It has open space to walk around, and the discounts are great. While it is organized and well-lit, there can sometimes be a long wait time to check out depending on the time of day. Their employees are so pleasant to be around and nice! Their restrooms are in desperate need of renovation, but tend to be clean. I LOVE the radio stations & music that they play!!

I had a good experience at this Salvation Army. There was a decent amount of clothes here, but there is a lot of floor space wasted. The staff were helpful and nice at the desks. The floors, and other things are in need up update and repair. The prices also were not very appealing at all as they were all pretty pretty high. If you’re looking for other thrift stores in the area, check out the list on my profile after you visit this thrift store for more! Tip: bring your own plastic bags for your purchase!

They always have lots of furniture at good prices, albeit a bit overpriced sometimes. Most clothes i’ve bought have been fairly priced, but sometimes there are clothes marked up to $8-$9 that should not be that much! It’s only every few items though, and they run deals every week. It’s clean, quiet, and organized.

I really like this store I usually spend over 50 bucks every time I go in there but today the female cashier went out of her way to make me and two of my grandchildren very uncomfortable. Hopefully she was just having a bad day I'll go back at least one more time but I will not be disrespected especially when I'm spending my money!

I went to donate some nice clean clothes and house items and was horrified to see multiple piles of donations just piled up outside. When I drove by the donation door there was a 20 ft plus mountain pile inside the building. Who ever is managing this should be fired. Even with covid there is no excuse for this kind of disaster. I have shopped and donated here multiple times because I know that the Salvation Army blesses many people across the Dayton area. Previously this place has always been clean. organized with quality.

This SA is probably the best one in Ohio. The furniture selection is massive. The building used to be a roller skating rink and the wooden floor with lines is still visible. The bedding/linens/textiles are well organized. The clothing racks are sorted by color within the sizes. At times the clothing racks are over loaded which makes it almost impossible to flip through them but that's the only complaint I have with this store. And seriously, is to much inventory to choose from REALLY a problem? 🤔😁 They have a huge selection of shoes/boots to choose from and the prices are reasonable. Wednesday is half price day on all colors except for the color they are stocking that week. Furniture and jewelry are not included in the 50% of sale. Jason, the manager I've come to recognize, is pretty darn awesome. He's been there since we were both younger and thinner. I've quietly watched him grow from a newbie, moving around furniture, etc., to being the person in charge. Great guy, and regardless of how busy he is- he always says hi to the customers if you say hi to him. The BEST thing about this location- they attach the price tags to the manufacturer's tag inside the garment, unlike the West Chester location where they double staple the prices to the front of shirts and ruin them.
