Usually there is a sweet young girl at the self checkout who has let me MULTIPLE times checkout with more than 15 items. I come here on my lunch break trying to be as efficient and quick as possible, but the last time I went there was some elderly lady who snapped at me that I “cant check out here” when there was literally no self check out line the ENTIRE 25 minutes I had to wait in the regular check out lines. I watched the self check employee the entire time I had to wait in the regular checkout line just stand around and chat with the other employees so it made me feel like she really just did not care to do her job (which is literally just watching people checkout, not very hard). Then, the lady who I unfortunately had to go to to check out was the slowest employee on the entire planet- wasting a ridiculous amount of bags by placing one/two items in a bag and then knotting them so they were difficult to carry to / from my car (when i had brought my own reusable bags too which she totally ignored??). Awful awful AWFUL customer service. I will be using the self checkout from now on regardless of if that woman tells me i can or cannot because I would have been out of the store in 5 minutes rather than literally (timing it) 25 minutes (and i was only behind one other person in line too:/). I understand the 15 items or less during peak hours, but at 10:00 on a work day when the store is literally almost empty, this was an absolutely excruciating long and annoying experience. Moral of the story, its 2022 and we should be a lot more efficient in grocery stores than this Daves is

I was not happy with the Rib Steak I bought looks good on the front get home oh the smell and brownish/gray on the under side. I hate going to return anything from the store but if that's what you have to do.

Very nice clean store. Employees are very polite and helpful unlike the store in Cleveland Heights. The deli is top notch. The prepared food looked and tasted amazing. I tried the fried chicken and perch with jo jo potatoes. Shelves were well stocked. I like the fact there there are not a lot of Employees stocking shelves as I shopped. I will go again

Dave's is a wonderful place to shop for fresh fruits, vegetables,and meats nice customer service, and they have Senior citizen day on Wednesdays 5% discount

I love Daves and they always have great prices. They also have great cakes and other baked goods that I love! What a treat! I will always choose Daves over Giant Eagle. Dave's is at least nice to their customers unlike some places I know!

I had to come Here to get my mom a birthday cake. The one in severance apparently sends the bakery people home before 12 even though they say the bakery is open until 7. But the cake was good the baker was there and wrote my message for me and was really nice.

I've been shopping here for years. There's always someone to help you locate different items. Fair prices. Multiple check out lanes open on top of 4 self check outs. State liquor department atm on site. Big parking lot.
