Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable in the store. I love the stores' variety on any specific thing. They have groceries and even fresh take and eat food! I got a Chefs salad which was very tasty and energizing. Good supplements are not cheap so don't expect Walmart prices. Doesn't mean you can't find a deal or they don't have options, just keep that in mind.

They have a way bigger selection than GNC. Also has a small grocery section which will always be handy.

They are always sold out of the supplement I need. Their staff tries to be helpful, but usually just repeat stuff they've already told me. I don't like going there, but they are the only place I can find the supplement (when it's in stock) it's not even available online 😒

I split my time between here and the 51st store, and both are fine. About as expensive as whole foods, and without the prime 10%, but I'd like to think I'm keeping the money local compared to feeding Amazon's pockets. The staff are usually pleasant/helpful, and I usually find what I want.

This is the cleanest and most peaceful store to shop in. The customer service is the best. Best health food store since 1935. They have high quality Supplements and their staff is trained to know how they work. They carry specialty food items for many dietary needs. AND they educate the community with free health lectures, informative handouts and they publish Healthy Edge, and Delicious Living magazines free to the public monthly. They don't just talk health, they define it! They have the most knowledgeable staff and top quality items in stock. Can't find what you need? They will order it for you. WOW!!

Akins is the original health food store in Tulsa. They have items which you are unlikely to find elsewhere (check the pictures). Wide variety of vitamins & supplements for specific health concerns. Vegan & GF items are available. This is the smaller store. If you can't find it here, then try the location at 51st St. and Memorial Ave.

This is one of the smaller Akin's food stores. The people are nice, but the store doesn't have as good a selection as their other store in town. I stopped by to pick up an order a friend of mine had made, and I had to ask several people as the first two employees didn't know you could even order products.

These are decent little stores. I usually go to the one on 51st, but the staff here is nice and I had a wonderful lady here help me with a diffuser and some essential oils. She was awesome.
