The pizza is expensive. I ordered a 14” pizza with added chicken for a total of $24 without tip (over $27 with tip). The added grilled chicken was an extra $4, but they really skimped on the amount of chicken you get. I got about two small chunks of chicken per slice. I ordered the modern Margherita pizza, which tastes fine, but it’s a bit dry. The basil pesto sauce is drizzled on top instead of underneath the cheese, which isn’t enough, in my opinion. I wouldn’t eat here again. MOD Pizza is better to me.

Went to get a pizza and salad. Took order, 10 min later sitting waiting, they don't have ingredients for pizza I ordered. So I switch pizza to another, 10 min later we don't have the ingredients for any of the salads you ordered. Why not just put closed on the door if you don't have anything in stock??? Waste of time, got a refund. Which they also didn't know how to process. 10 min later and waste of lunch break i went somewhere else.

I am deeply disturbed by the reviews of “best pizza I’ve had in a long time” or “this pizza is amazing!”…pizza crust seemed undercooked and toppings overwhelmed the flavorless pizza. The beer is also overpriced and mediocre. I think a papa murphy’s pizza has more flavor than this place…

The folks here are fantastic and have always been super helpful and friendly. The pizzas are fantastic (the variety is has been something to work all the way through). The selection of beers are top notch. Great addition to the local scene.

I was visiting the area and (using Googles "helpful" links) thought I called this restaurant to place a pick-up order. Unfortunately It turned out to be their Pearl location (which isn't nearby). This restaurant was very gracious and made my order anyway and didn't charge me since the other restaurant took my payment over the phone. I wish I'd gotten peoples names but the whole team was so great and understanding. After all that....the pizza and pilzner was great too! Parking: Several spots available around the building. Dietary restrictions: GF option

review updated. Pizza has gotten a lot better. Love the crust it is crispy with a good chew after the initial crunch. Toppings are good but wished they used better quality of cheese. Somewhat dog friendly. Ok to order food with dog in arm but was told to take the dog outside, which was weird because it was never a problem before and we always did take the dog outside to eat the pizza.

Love this place! So glad Von Ebert moved to the neighborhood and partnered with By Design Pizza. The food is great and the beers are awesome. Super excited to win free pizza for a year! Will be stopping by here often for the rest of their food and specials as well.
