For a company that claims to pride themselves on customer service, they did a wonderful job in the begininng which is why we ultimately chose to go with them for our first cycle. My insurance does not cover fertility medication, and so everything was being paid for out of pocket. Even after qualifying for some financial aid, their medicine was still considerably higher than other fertility pharmacies. However, they offered to price match cheaper pharmacies which they did multiple times without any issue. But apparently this policy had an expiration because when I called to refill a prescription for our second cycle, they were unwilling to match the same prices they had previously honored. If we had know their policy was going to change, we would have gone with a different pharmacy in the first place. When I asked why they were unable to honor the same prices, the only explanation I recieved was that they are a small pharmacies and couldn't absorb the cost. If this is the case, they should never have claimed to do price matches from the beginning. Fertility has so many unknowns, but a pharmacy should be adding stability not stress to the situation. I was told the manager/owner would call me so we could discuss. I never received a phone call. This experience just wasn’t the same level of service I had received from New Era in the past. Shame.

New Era pharmacy was amazing to work with! My husband and I were stressed going through our first IVF cycle and the staff and pharmacists at New Era made this portion as simple as possible. We received our medications quickly and we received support from staff when we had a few questions. Thank you so much for helping us create our baby boy!

This is an objectively awful business. I showed up over an hour before they closed and followed the instructions on the door for service. I’m all for virus precautions and preventative measures, but the protocol here defies common sense. They’re going above and beyond to be alarmist and pseudo-virtuous. This review isn’t about that though. I called the number on the door and got no answer. When someone looked up and made eye contact with me they quickly looked away and turned off the lights in the business. I called several more times, not getting an answer, all the while at least three employees actively avoided eye contact with me. I just needed a simple toiletry. This pharmacy used to have a different name. It was also terrible and failed. This is essentially the same business, same price gouging and same unconscionable customer service. The owner/management clearly have zero understanding of fundamental business practices. They survive because they’re the only option in the immediate area. You’re better off saving your time and money at one of the chain pharmacies a few miles away. This business deserves to fail and it inevitably will. Go somewhere else and expedite the process. Maybe a tenant with basic decency will fill the space.

New Era Pharmacy is absolutely wonderful! Jenna (one of the pharmacy reps) takes amazing care of us at our small clinic located in Edmonds, WA. New Era is our go to pharmacy for all of our patient's specialty medication needs.

After dealing with another fertility pharmacy NewEra has been awesome. The prescriptions are ready so fast, the staff has always answered questions and run price checks for me. The other pharmacy I use cannot get my address right and are confused when I ask questions about medicination use. NewEra answers every question and are less expensive than the other pharmacy I was using. I don't know what fertility pharmacy others are using that is cheaper, but I highly recommend this one.

Some of the worst customer service I've experienced at a pharmacy. You have to call As their lobby is closed but their phone tree doesn't tell you what to do so you actually have to go to the door read the instructions and then go back to your car and call all and then they want to put you on hold multiple times for no apparent reason after they've called you and told you the prescription is ready So you can sit in your hot car for 10 minutes. Seems pretty ridiculous to me I will go out of my way not to use them ever again

Over price on fertility medicine!!! Got my same medicines at a different pharmacy and saved over $500 on a 3 week supply of medicine!!! Very pushy. My insurance would not cover the medicines. They told me they ran the medicines through my insurance; however, I later talked to insurance and they only had tried to get insurance to assist with one of the medicines. My insurance company had never been asked to cover the second medicine. Highly recommend people shop around for another pharmacy!!!!

I had a great experience here! The best I have ever had with any pharmacy actually. So my doctor said she would call in my antibiotics, and not even 10 minutes after I got off the phone with her, I had someone from Strohecker's calling me to let me know my doctor had called in my prescription, and asked when I would want to have them filled and come to get them. So I walked over (I live a 5 minute walk away) and they were ready for me since they had the meds in stock. When I got to the counter and said my name, the woman immediately knew who I was and there wasn't the usual, "well let me go check if those are ready yet" experience. Everything was a breeze. They were also a lot more warm and friendly than my usual experience with, say, Fred Meyer pharmacy techs. Which are also nice, but that bored kind of nice who seem exhausted.
