NewEra Pharmacy

For a company that claims to pride themselves on customer service, they did a wonderful job in the begininng which is why we ultimately chose to go with them for our first cycle. My insurance does not cover fertility medication, and so everything was being paid for out of pocket. Even after qualifying for some financial aid, their medicine was still considerably higher than other fertility pharmacies. However, they offered to price match cheaper pharmacies which they did multiple times without any issue. But apparently this policy had an expiration because when I called to refill a prescription for our second cycle, they were unwilling to match the same prices they had previously honored. If we had know their policy was going to change, we would have gone with a different pharmacy in the first place. When I asked why they were unable to honor the same prices, the only explanation I recieved was that they are a small pharmacies and couldn't absorb the cost. If this is the case, they should never have claimed to do price matches from the beginning. Fertility has so many unknowns, but a pharmacy should be adding stability not stress to the situation. I was told the manager/owner would call me so we could discuss. I never received a phone call. This experience just wasn’t the same level of service I had received from New Era in the past. Shame. ~Amanda

Fred Meyer Pharmacy

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. The line is always this long. They make waiting for a prescription unbearable. I have never had any issue with the staff the line just moves at a snails pace. Refilling you prescription through the app gives you no advantage as you have to wait in line anyways. I hope they hire more staff bc these pharmacist and techs are probably over worked and underpaid. I’ve started using Amazon pharmacy and just paying out of pocket bc waiting here for up to an hour is not on the top of my todo list. ~Libby

Safeway Pharmacy

If you can get your prescriptions anywhere else—do it. This place is slow to process your medication (2+ days after they receive it), and excruciatingly slow to pick up in person. Expect to wait in a line for 20-40 minutes. This is based on picking up meds here for three years until I learned I could go somewhere else! Oh, and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a phone call picked up—it just goes to voicemail. Life is too short to go to this pharmacy. ~K.

Fred Meyer Pharmacy

I have used this pharmacy for 17 years. My husband and I are elderly so have lots of prescriptions. We also get shots there. The pharmacists counsel us on new drugs. And prices. We always feel a sense of connection and care. Since the pandemic, they like many health care providers have been tested. Staffing issues have led to trying to do more work with shorter hours. There are some glitches. But, I feel they care about what they are doing. ~Ann
