We happened to be there on the 50th business anniversary celebration and it was a treat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were loads of samples and pony rides. The Apple Streusel was one of the best Ive ever had. The chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon buns, pretzel breakfast sandwich, muffins were also amazing. Great place and must visit.

Very nice place with a good selection of pies and breads. Out in a country setting with nice picnic area and birds chirping. Exactly what we were looking for away from tourist area.

We stopped on our way home from a family trip to Hershey. I’m so glad we stopped. All of the food is delicious. Make sure you grab a fresh pretzel and lemonade from the trailer in the parking lot. The scenery is gorgeous too-nestled on a quiet road in the heart of Amish country.

Nestled in the heart of the Amish farmlands sits this wonderful bake shop with fresh made Amish goodies. Whether you go for shoo fly pie or Schnitz pie you won’t be disappointed. Strictly takeout you can buy pretty much anything here including jams and Amish jams and souvenirs. Check out the pretzel trailer sitting outside for a real buttery Amish pretzel. A children’s playground sits behind it. Baked goods are delicious and worth getting the seasonal offerings if they have any left available. Enjoy the drive and soak in the Amish county side went you visit.

Been coming to Lancaster for years and found this place on my latest visit. It’s back off the main hustle and bustle road, but has a petting zoo, nicely priced outdoor decorations and a variety of freshly baked goods like cookies and pies. Highly recommend turning off the main road to visit.

Small but wonderful bake shop. I especially liked the breads. Everything is fresh and delicious. Friendly atmosphere. The best thing is that they have some animals outside, especially goats. You can feed them too. It was a really fun place to go.

Very nice but little bit touristic place. Tried couple of their pies. Pumpkin and apple were great, chocolate little too sweet to my taste. Everything was fresh with thin dough and a lot of filling.

Learned about this bake shop through my favorite youtuber Strictly Dumpling from him raving about the delicious baked goods here, and he was not kidding. I decided to get the apple pie, but not before checking out the adorable mini farm next door with cute goats roaming around. The employees here are very nice, and don't worry if the last flavor of your favorite food is taken from the table, it will be quickly be replaced with another.

We were in search of some big cinnamon rolls and the Bird In Hand Bakeshop did not disappoint. The cinnamon rolls were large with great-tasting icing. It was a great value, and the staff was very friendly. The store had a neat sliding picnic booth outside to enjoy. Definitely will return.

We came to see the chickens! But also to check out the baked goods (just looking). Next time we’ll eat something there. Cute place in the countryside. Worth visiting. Bathrooms and parking. Places to sit and eat outside.
