I went into this store for the first time in years this past week. Wow what a dump, and it was absolutely filthy.

I'm confused ... Just had a trailer load of good stuff from multiple rentals - refused because drop-off is ONLY until 4:30pm - and they opened the back door to tell me that !!! So I took about $300 of their retail value to Goodwill in Butler ... Guess they are not hungry enough???

The person taking donations in the back of the store was unbelievably vile, as another reviewer mentioned. We pulled in and brought some clothing bags over to where two men were tossing people's donations into a dirty truck like they were garbage. After standing there for about 30 seconds and not even being acknowledged, one employee finally said, angrily, "just set it there." We took our donations back to the car and left. We had promised to never donate to this "charity" again after donating once months earlier with a similar incident, but thought we'd give it a second try. How do they stay open with such nasty employees and a keen hatred of White people? Look upon their name with scorn.

I was extremely disappointed today because i have always supported the salvation army in many ways, but today when i went to donate at the back of the building I ran into a very aggressive man throwing donations across the parking lot (literally throwing no exaggeration) and when I said good morning he was very angry and said yea whatever. I left and took my donation to the St. Vincent DePaul store. I know everyone has a bad day so I'll keep supporting them but it was very off putting.

Great. The manager Amie is so sweet and kind. Its a shame they only make $7.45/ hr. So sad. I worked there for 6 years and wanted full time, but they wouldn't give it to me because they didn't want to pay the insurance so I had to quit. Found a better job at Dynamic Ceramics who treat their workers beyond greatness! I am so blessed now

I've spent a lot of time and made many purchases over the years with Salvation Army of Butler along Route 8. Their inventory is well maintained and organized by style and color. I enjoy their sales and often coordinate my visit during the events. The current sale is always posted inside the doors. Also, they have a large book selection at great pricing. Their staff is helpful and polite.

Clothes are reasonable but if you are looking for any furniture or housewares they want retail prices which defeats the purpose of a "thrift" store. I have even caught them tagging things at HIGHER prices than what you could purchase the item BRAND NEW.

Always a good book to buy. Nice clothes cheap. Not so much for larger sizes. Found some nice party lite pieces. Saw some nice lamps but don't like those old yellow cords. Wish I knew how to change those things

Prices are ridiculous some times.. 160 something dresser is still there months later but has big ugly scratches now on the top, few dings in it.. not sure how prices like that help out people in need. The only plus is the antiques that i find that are a decent prices ( some times )
